Tsunade Sage Mode

It occurs to me that since the other two Sanin and their proteges attained or attempted to attain (Oro) sage mode Tsunade should have done the same. She knew about it through Jiraiya and she has the chakra control to do it. Why hasn't she? Do slugs not have sage mode? Do other animal summons have a sage mode that can be attained? It would be hilarious to see Kakashi dog sage mode:

well from what we have seen sage mode is the taking in and balance of nature energy and by that reasoning anyone person in the naruto world with large chakra to balance out the nature energy and training can go into sage mode

now understanding this i really dont get why naruto turn into a frog and kabuto a snake and jugo a mad beast of some kind lol

so is their a slug sage who knows but anyone with the right tools ( large chakra and a teacher and the will to train it) can learn sage mode

I think you're correct. I feel that the people turn into the different animals because of the methods their teachers use to teach them sage mode. They likely need an animal teacher because the animals are "closer to nature" and better at sensing and using the natural chakra. I question whether all animal summons have a representative that is capable of teaching sage mode though.

I think it is heavily implied that Shikkotsurin is a place to go learn Slug Sage mode. Presumably Tsunade either never bothered going (which is what I think) or she failed the training like Orochimaru (who apparently didn't have the right body to learn SM).
