Why didn't Nagato summon the Gedo Mazo at the assault of Konoha & fighting Itachi!!

He would have ended things very easily specially in edo mode, which makes him have infinite chakra. Therefore, can you give me logical answers to why he didn't utilize the gedo mazo?

or is it just another kishi being lazy and ending fights nonsensly.

He's done that all through the Edo Tensei saga. Name one fight, ONE that was reasonably long and at least SLIGHTLY legitimate and... free cookie :)

It was kabuto controlling him, and kabuto apparently decided not to summon gedo mazo or maybe he forgot about it or something

He's under kabutos control.
Tobis is currently controlling Gedo.

Yeah but isn't gedo mazo a summon that only a rennegan user can summon, which means nagato is capable of summoning him anyywhere anytime

I don't think it's that easy. Tobi got it now

But there can only be one controlling him. This is similar to Kurama, Madara, and Naruto; Madara can't use Kurama anymore, because Naruto is the one controlling him now.

ohh that makes sense rep+ :) but how did he summon it while fighting Hanzo if tobi has been controlling it ?

Because Tobi has it and he was alive during the Konoha invasion, plus he was too exhausted.

That was the first time it was actually summoned. Tobi didn't have control over it at that time.

Re: Why didn't Nagato summon the Gedo Mazo at the assault of Konoha & fighting Itachi

Im not sure which path wields the gedo mazo ability although you could argue animal. I do however believe nagato himself the seventh path is one whom wields this power and if this is the case he cannot summon it to konoha because it gedo mazo attaches chakra rods into nagato's back in order for it manoeuvre and since nagato himself is far away from konoha he wouldnt be able to do this.

As for the itachi scenario, im still not sure if each rinngean user has available their own gedo mazo or their own summonings for that matter. What im saying is that if gedo mazo is a rinnegan ability meaning every rinngena user has its own then yes nagato couldve possibly summoned it although he was being controlled by kabuto. If gedo mazo isnt a rinnegan ability but rather nagato's technique, then i believe its the same gedo mazo that tobi wields therefore nagato wouldnt be able to use it even if kabuto wasnt controlling him

I don't think that example applies to Nagato, Tobi, and Gedo Mazo. Gedo Mazo is a summon for both Nagato and Tobi. Kurama is a summon for Madara but Kurama is not a summon for Naruto. Madara can't summon Kurama because he is sealed inside of Naruto.

Nagato was alive during the assault on Konoha but that doesn't affect his ability to summon Gedo Mazo.
