Can Itachi defeat Konoha like Nagato?

I don't think that he can take out the entire village in one night by himself, but there is a way that he could do it secretly over time. Remember when the white Zetsus were copying people and infiltrating the joint ninja army? Everyone thought that it was genjutsu.

Itachi could use genjutsu on a few people, and over time build up a small force that could go around and try to assassinate people in their sleep.

Remember he did take out the entire Uchiha clan in one night, which was the strongest clan in Konoha, and that was when he was 13.

It is unlikely he would take out the top people by a surprise assassination attempt, due to guards, etc. but if he has Kisame and Konoha ninjas under genjutsu, it would be easier to fight a regular battle once most of the people have been killed in their sleep.

i think you missed the entire point of the thread he has to face konoha like nagato did and itachi was aided by tobi in destroying uchiha clan, konoha is 20times larger than the uchiha clan w/ ppl like naruto, tsunade, kakashi and gai he can never win

if Itachi did it Tactical and silent and with the help of Kisame he could probably pull this off. Itachis Mastery in Kunais and Shurikens is at a extremely high level he would easily blitz the jonin without wasting any chakra. Then Itachi would defeat Kakashi and Choji and then he will help Kisame to beat Guy and the others then they will go after Tsunade and beat her.

then after all this fight he will fight sm naruto w/ prep and knowledge gama trio, ma and pa then he will face six tail kyuubi and eight tail kyuubi then again another sage mode naruto do you still think he can win? Gai would have defeat kisame before itachi interfare

Nagato had a massive advantage that nobody knew what he could do. There are ninja in Konoha that know Itachi's skill set. In fact Danzo probly would have gotten involved if he had. Plus Nagato had godlike force to do heavy damage as well as an army. Itachi would have been destroyed. hence why he ran when he showed up in part 1

Itachi didn't run away he just did not go to the village to fight just to show danzo he was still alive.

On topic I believe itachi and kisame can destroy the leaf village if orochimaru did it itachi and kisame can.kisame and he water dome will drown most of them

it would help you read the manga more attentively you made it seems like oro alone attack konoha when it's the combination of 2 villages sand and sound and you don't even read the thread opening post nor do you the title

Nagato had rinnengan and power of god :ice: so he just destroyed everything that came in his way :noc: .Itachi doesn't have rinnengan or power of god :itachi: but he has uchiha blood and intelligence and if he is not sick and can use Mongekyu without losing his sight then he can definately break in leaf and defeat evryone 1 by 1. And itachi has Perfect susanoo (he didnt used in battle wid sasuke :sasuke with sword and shield so he can win.

Probably I am overating Itachi and Kisame abit. He and Kisame would probably go right to the end and fail at the last hurdle but with Itachi at Full Health with Kisame you never know they are very dangerous together.

Situation: He is given the same advantage Nagato did via surprise attack the village and Kisame can help him.

Itachi is healthy enough to fight until he loses or defeats the Kyubi.

No he could not due to his poor chakra levels and lack of large area attacks. Only power players could hope to do the same damage upon the village as Nagato previously did (Naruto,Madara,Killer B,etc)

Wait a minute you mean gai can beat nagato :rofl: not even in his dream well lee was able to defeat tobi in his dream and which manga are you reading nagato flattened and defeat konoha he defeat everybody the only person he didn't defeat is naruto and that is plot, kakashi is a match for sasori let alone konoha

Some people misunderstand what Itachi is capable of. If he was alive I'm sure tobi would have sent Itachi instead of pain? You ask why? Because Itachi is perfect for behind the scenes assaults. He can infiltrate the village easily without anyone noticing and find were naruto is easily. Simply because he is the master of the genjutsu technique of the sharingan. As soon as he finds the info he needs, he can go back easily without being noticed at all. That simple. If he wants wants to destroy the village, he can either simply set the forest of fire with amaturasu from distance were he can leave easily and or just set some random cat on fire with amaturasu and have it run around spreading that crap while people would be trying to put it out not knowing what hit them. I would also like to say itachis amaturasu burns much faster than sasukes amatirasu. That being that it burned through jirayas toad wall in an instant. Amaturasu burns for seven days and nights so I am sure by the faith day when the forest of death is on fire the whole village would be engulfed. Of course the hidden leaf wouldn't know what hit them

How is susanoo, amaterasu and tsukuyomi on par with Nagato's jutsu? Itachi would fail to destroy Konoha, his stamina was worse than Kakashi's before death and after each ms technique there's a backlash. Whilst Itachi's struggling, Gai would defeat Kisame.

Hell no even with kisame they would be forced to retreat in no time. konoha is well aware of kisame and itachi's ability's because kakashi has fought itachi twice and guy fought kisame twice. Why pain was so successful in owning konoha was because they had barely any knowledge on his ability's/it was a sneak attack and on top of that he is incredibly powerful.
