About Naruto vs Pein

Hey guys, just wanted to ask you about one particular detail of the fight between Naruto and Pein. As you all read/saw, Pa had to perfom reverse-summoning on Naruto's clones when Naruto went out of Sage Mode so that Naruto could disperse them and use the collected natural energy.

My question is: Why did the clones have to be summoned back at all? Why couldn't Naruto just disperse them from a distance? Is it because Myobukuzan is too far away? Is there a specific range within which a clone needs to be in order to transmit memories/natural energy back to the original after dispersing? Any ideas?

no, that was never really explained but no no distance issue, cause we've seen naruto disperse clones from further distances and pa cud have just attacked and disperse the clones.

Its like that: Naruto cant let his clones disperse, the clone has to be either destroyed or cause himself to disperse. Pa summoned the clones back so that they knew "oh ok now it's time for the real me to get the sage chakra! Time to disperse"

it may have been because he could of accidently disperced both if he did it at the Myobukuzan so he summoned one so only that one would disappear?

Maybe there is a specific distance thing.....
N during the war Naruto could disperse the clones n still had the memory cuz he was in BM....
Just a thought.....
