Who is the most useless character in naruto? (in terms of powers , personality etc)

iruka and yamato are not useless iruka was created to save naruto from lonliness and to be the first person to acknowledge naruto and yamato was introduced to stop naruto when he go berserk and to serve as power up for zetsu and they play their role well the ppl that are useless is sakura who is introduced to be the female heroine of this manga but is now reduced to a side character w/ no plot relevance that is the definition of useless and you can't expect everybody to be strong and anbu play their roles too. Becous they are not strong doesn't mean they are useless

As long as a character play the role they are created to play they are not useless and iruka and ebisu are academy teachers don't expect them to be strong they are only have small fighting abilities because they are ninjas. They are not useless

Why are people saying Asuma and Temari are useless???

Asuma was a pretty strong Jounin compared to most others (not Kakashi or Gai). He saved Shikamaru from 8 ninja and helped fight Hidan.

Temari fodderized Tenten and Tayuya. She also held her own against the Third Raikage of all people with the help of a few others.
