Can Itachi defeat Konoha like Nagato?

itachi is only good in 1v1 fights
pain abilities are more suited for invasions/mass killing people
pain has alot more endurance and abilities that help him kill many at once
all itachi is really good for is his ms techs and he would tire himself out if he relied on them for a whole entire village.
also how can you say he only fights what the deva path fights when he is only 1 person and pain was 6 people split up around the village.
i also think that sage mode naruto with ma pa etc would beat itachi fairly easy to.

this ^^ is the only way but even then this would be beyond difficult because of his stamina
agree with markdabomb22 and Supa. try to think "what if" Itachi has never show his pissed off maybe his stamina will increase. who know.. if itachi become bad like as madara then he would already have sasuke's eyes then fighting with konoha probably unlock rinnegan.. who know??

Well as far as the situation, you cant really make them similar. Pain simply barged his way In and started his rampage. Itachi would be more sinister & less agressive starting off and would utilize his superior intellect & analysis skills,etc. And tbh, no I dont think Itachi can pull of the same feat as pain as far as destroying the Leaf Villiage. Pain is a class above Itachi, thats why he was his supirior. And also the Rinnegan is a tier above the Sharingan.
well control some randoms in the shadows, drop some cans of gasoline, plant some TNT them amataresu the leaked gasoline then Booom! To konoha on Fire. then we are going to see the fireman trying to extinguises the Flames but without success.

First of ALL you people fail to understand that Itachi has been given the task to capture Kyuubi, NOT destroy konoha.
Either way, even it is said, itachi would not destroy Konoha.
He will get into Konoha undetected, as last time, then use genjutsu to take info from top ninjas, easy targets like Sakura or Chouji. If he is caught anyway, he can escape or kill them in cold blood as long as he does not get the info.
So, if he can extract info easily with genjutsu without making any chaos, whats the meaning to destroying the village and making more trouble foolishly like nagato???

naruTOBoI007 u r jealous. u don't know itachi really no one know only kisi know.. you all can't say that when it never shown and itachi wasn't bad guy mean he don't destroy stuff so there no way for us to know if he can or he can't..

No he can't cuz there are some advantages that Pain had, that he won't have. Itachi is well-known by Kakashi and some others, so they could defend themselves more efficiently. Itachi doesn't have enough chakra to fight. And he doesn't have attacks that could destroy Konoha in a great scale like Shinra tensei. Like someone said, Itachi is a 1vs1 fighter. He can't spamm techniques. Just using Amaterasu exhaust him. When he was alive, i believe that just a fight against Kakashi could make him really look bad. Since Kakashi know him, i believe he will fight all out, and he has a dangerous technique called kamui that Itachi will need to deal against. We've seen Kakashi know how to fight Itachi and his genjutsus. You add Tsunade into play and i think he is done for. Kisame could be killed by others
Itachi doesnt have the same same stamina as nagato had, also the paths were basically immortalized and even when they were defeated they could be brought back at full power. Also itachi lacks the numbers and the destructive power to destroy the leaf

Like Nagato / Tendo Peins ? No. He would win 1on1 but, he can not able to destroy whole village with one move, even in several moves. No he has not attacks like that.
