sharingan > rinnegan because sharingan can switch to rinnegan which mean sharingan have them both. rinnegan like nagato don't have sharingan too. itachi alway surprise.. its true nagato powers is better than itachi. but battle between those two is unknown.

Nagato might have a very wide range of jutsu but Itachi can easily discern his opponent's jutsu and always finds a way to counter them. Intelligence is also a key factor in battle, not just power. Not to mention, Itachi himself is also powerful.
that is what ive been tring to tell these people! Thank you! Doesn't matter about strong. e.g shamiknara impossible to beat hidan but he did! So i thought about itachi same things. sweet!

Nagato likely mastered his own eyes better than Itachi. He had them when he was a kid and he's like 40 when he died, Itachi being 21.

I'm shaky about using the Naruto wiki as a main source of information. For example the part where Izanagi can apparently be used without Hashirama's power... not a page in the manga can back that up. It doesn't even consider Tobi's clear statement: outright saying Izanagi needs Uchiha and Senju powers to be used.Then idk, Wiki gets it's facts from databook, and also tobi lies sometimes.
Tobi lies when need be, in that situation he had no reason to lie.
It cannot be interpreted as that because Tobi's language is clear in all three scans I gave you: Izanagi needs Senju DNA and Uchiha DNA to even be used.
It is an association fallacy to say "because of Izanagi then Izanami must". Just because Izanagi requires Senju DNA and Izanami doesn't, it doesn't mean that Izanagi doesn't need Senju DNA. It just means Izanami doesn't need Senju DNA, whilst Izanagi does.

I did hear a good point the only chance he has got is izanagi and that is no way out, backed in a corner, last second desperate. Itachi knows his place when he is dead or alive. To his credit he has quite a track record since showing up on the battle field, comperable to only Madara and Naruto. But He just gets overwelmed by Nagato even if itachi was healthy it would be a hell of fight to see fight. Nagato is that man

Nagato was an Edo+regeneration i dont think edos even suffer pain from their wounds they just regenerat it, minutes laters nagato used shinra.. amataresu one more time and thats it... no one will save him.
Jutsus take concentration out of the shinnobis, if nagato get burned he will lose concentration because the pain and sensation of being burned will take all his concentration away to the pain he is suffering. get real!
Preta can not absorb it, we saw that he had to uses shinra.

Again has I said the manga itself isn't always clear on some statements and contradicts itself therefore it is still open that izanami doesn't require senju DNA. Again tobi himself in that same scan labeled it a Uchiha technique.Why didn't he call it a Senju/Uchiha Tech ?
Without Naruto and Bee helping him he never would've accomplished that. And it's not that hard to outsmart someone who's being controlled -_-
And in terms of power Nagato>>>>>Itachi. It's really not even close. Itachi would have a chance though, but only through genjutsu. Other than that Nagato has Itachi outclassed.
