Why would that not make sense, if he was the only one not to be summoned? He is still an edo...

If he was summoned to his location it wouldn't make any difference and he would be weary and still stand there, because he's already there..

He lied to Tobi.

Unsommoning the Edo Tensei = will automaticaly summon someone else.

My theory about Kabuto's plan if anybody tried to end the Edo:

As we all know by now, the seals Kabuto showed Tobi, and the ones Itachi made him do are different.

My theory is that one of them was the right seals, and the other just summons all of Kabuto's Edos back to him, to defend him if someone ever tried to stop him from using ET.

So there could be a chance that Itachi has just summoned every edo that is on the field to their location in the cave.

The problem with this is that Itachi has the going up light thing when he is already right there lol.
and to the other thing you said, Kabuto is under a genjutsu and there is no way for him to specifically give the seals that take itachi out of the edo. that makes noooo sense at all lol.

The Genjutsu would cause kabuto to do exactly what the genjutsu caster asked. Kabuto obviously lied to Tobi, but since Kabuto was put into Genjutsu he had no controls over his own actions.

Kabuto had no reason to lie to Tobi because he knew Tobi could just Genjutsu him. He probably did tell him the truth and Kabuto did something broken like create false memories within or something. Itachi would read it as the truth because Kabuto would really think it is the truth.

Yeah I'd definitely hope so, so that they could actually be fleshed out and get their deserved reunions and whatnot. Unfortunately I doubt that it's going to happen, but we can dream.
