3rd raikage did not tank Rasenshuriken

What exactly do people mean by "tanked" ?
If it means taking no damage at all, then NO, he did not tank it as his Raiton armor faded.

If it means enduring the attack without much damage, then, yes he did.

Here, you can see some signs of damage on his body, but he's not regenerating like other edos (which takes some time, look kakashi vs zabuza/haku). This clearly means he didn't take a massive amount of damage.

IMO it's halfway between. The Raikage should have been disintegrated like the zetsu and pain bodies. Even if he did take cellular damage, the amount of damage negated is astounding. However, it's obvious that the amount of damage taken wasn't zero; if it was, he wouldn't be lying on the ground like an idiot, risking being sealed. Seeing that the raiton armor deactivated, if Raikage wasn't edo it probably would have ended the fight because raikage's ability to manipulate chakra was clearly affected. If you break it down to what really matters though, ie, can a non-edo Raikage take a thrown RS in a fight and still keep going without being significantly disadvantaged, then the answer is no.

the pein body disintegrated because naruto was able to expand it and the body took a hit from the fuuton that was added to the rasengan

i think when rasenshuriken hits a target the target gets hit by countless microscopic needles but around the target fuuton acts disintegrating everything around the target

he didnt cause,wind>lighting
rasenshuriken is strongest wind attack we have seen,and raikage have lighting so i think raikage didnt tanked it,but in the mean while i see,he did tank,am confuse,dont knw where to go,
i will sayhe tanked it

He tanked Rasenshuriken but it did momentarily weaken him to the point that his armor was obliterated, two Rasenshuriken would end him. One to take down his armor and the other to destroy his weakened body.

Uh huh, that may explain away Pein being disintegrated, but not this.

This is a mini Rasenshuriken cutting straight through a zetsu leg. That ain't cell damage.

He didn't tank it. His chakra network was shot. To tank something means to not be affected by it, but you can clearly see that he was knocked to the ground and his Lighting Armor was turned off.

People seem to forget Naruto isn't throwing it in this form and the same thing happened to Kakuzu. He wasn't vaporized yet he still died(or rather Kakashi killed him afterwards). People seem to forget how FRS works.

Yes, it could be that he got hit by at least a part of it, but because he is in edo-form, the inner damage that was dealt to him rapidly healed

FRS doesn't do macro-level damage like cutting, burning, blasting, etc.....It works like an invisible attack which only take affect on the person's chakra system AND 3rd Raikage did get hit by FRS square, that's why even in edo-form his armour was demolished and his body was like blowing steam...

I'd say if the 3rd Raikage is alive. he would of been out of comission for afew hours at minimum. i dont think it would of killed him. i mean when he was alive he stabbed himself with that finger attack, when he fell once and he lived. but naruto's attack would of put him down for a few hours minimum.

as an edo he just regenerated to fast.

ok look, rasenshuriken deals cellular damage i am not arguing with that but for this damage to be dealt it has to pierce the skin has proven by kakuzu, when naruto use the rasenshuriken on kakuzu it pierce his skin and because of the amount of hits dealt by FRS the damage on his skin was made visible. My question is this, if the rasenshuriken dealt internal damage to him why isn't there any damage done to his skin?

That's like saying that punches don't hurt you because they don't pierce the skin and there's no way to see the damage it does. It's not true, we saw with Kakuzu the physical damage was very limited and if he were an Edo it would have regenerated nigh instantly. The internet damage itself also heals, this is the point of the ET to regenerate all its injuries.

Ok people think "tank" simply means he 'took the attack'? Then every Edo Tensei can tank any attack no matter the power. It just means their living selves would be completely obliterated such as this scenario.
