reverse summons

why dont ninja use there summons to escape ...like naruto he could summon a frog then have that frog go back home when he is danger then summon naruto then he would be safe ..does this make sense? lol

Yes, it makes sense. However, it's rarely about playing it safe. They've usually got to face whatever problems they encounter.

Well first summoning takes quite a bit of mana and if the frog/summoning goes home it wouldnt know when to summon, but if like what you said, summoning frogs around you and then having them summon you when you are in trouble then yes, thats a good idea.

We have to remember that it's the animals' homes. Mount Myoboku is the home of the toads so I don't think they'd appreciate Naruto exploiting the reverse summon all the time and invading their place just so he can have an easy way out

Can a ninja perform a reverse summon? Excuse me if I'm wrong but I think it's the summoning that summons the ninja. In a battle situation how would your summoning know you're in trouble. You'd have to summon it and then it would have to return home and then reverse summon the ninja.

yea you summon him/her then when your in near death he goes home and summoins you what is so hard abput this lol

During that time you summon him/her you could be killed, depending on your opponent. But most likely you'll survive because for some reason most ninja don't try and attack while you're gathering chakra or performing jutsu.

If thats the case then fights will never end. Youd get characters trolling and reverse summoning when they are about to get killed xd.

Seriously though there are many reasons. For example when sasuke used that manoeuvre, he wouldve been stuck in the snake world, if it wasnt for suigetsu who summoned manda back to where they were.

Secondly it seems if you do not do what is stated above then the summon itself has to summon you to their location. Pa frog always trolls naruto and reverse summonings him to the frog location.

Basically if a ninja decided to do this on their own, they could be forever stuck in the world of their summonings
