What do you think of the power scales?

Do you approve of the way the power scales are going?

I personally don't like it. I just thought it was way more intense at low levels.

I remember in the first few episodes when sasuke really looked like a prodigy because he could shoot fire out of his mouth while the others could only transform or replace themselves with logs. His fire jutsu looked devastating at the time.

Then when kakashi revealed his sharingan it seemed like the most amazing thing because he could apparently see into the future and use jutsu before the enemy could. Even Sasuke's sharingan was really impressive.

Lastly, Rock lee looked like he was teleporting because of how fast he was and garra was almost untouchable but now almost any character can touch garra even though apparently jonin level ninja couldnt get past his sand defense in part 1.

with the new scale its just explosions after explosions but earlier they used to use strategy and everything looked cool. anyone remember how awesome it was when naruto and sasuke used teamwork to free kakashi from water prison?

I agree to some extent but this problem can be rectified if minor characters are shown fighting lesser villains/edos

Gee, I really miss the old power scales. Back when you had to use intelligence to win a battle, instead of just seeing who has the more OP move .-.

in lower power scales it was intense knowing one screw lives someone dead. but in part 2 i could see why they up the anti

i agree with the intelligence part. naruto and sasuke, who were two brand new ninja, made zabuza stop his jutsu because they used intelligence. in part 2 theres no way even 5 genin would stand up to a jonin

unless u count naruto and sasuke

I agree with you +rep. I think kishi was inspired way too much by DBZ and that's why naruto is like that these days. I would have like it much better if the fights were still like they were before.

Yeh bro true aye. It was better when people use ta strategise in fights yeh, even sasuke was good when he fought Itachi & Diedara but now he just spams yeh.

I think that kind hyperbaton happens cause Kishi didn't establish the higher level in the power scale since he thought in the idea.
So the only way he can still impress us is be doing explosions that makes previous achievements looks like tickles.

i feel like naruto is mainly story driven now. i remember in part 1 during the chunin exams everyone was looking forward to certain matchups to see how one jutsu would conflict another but now we can obviously tell who would win in a fight

Actually the dojutsus (rinnegan,MS,EMS) fckd up the power levels. We already knew about Akatsuki, saw Itachi's amaterasu /tsukuyomi then it turned out that there is susanoo....etc but we knew the sannin's power, Kisame, and that the kyuubi and other bijuus are strong.
But f.e. the konoha 10 didnt have much powerup.

Well you know, the Uchiha Clan might be really strong, but if they cannot use their eyes, then what? So there is still a weakness......I guess their greatest strength is also their weakness......if they can get past Susano'o One thing about the power scaling is that the other Konoha 11 ninja seem like they are getting left behind, but in part 1 it seemed like they were going to be stronger.

Idk if I was dreaming, but in part 1 Konoha 11 were considered as a prodigious generation, since they all managed to pass chunin exam part 2 (the wood one) despite they being noobs.
So yeah, they're leaving behind.
Some ppl says that part 2 is focused in Naruto, Sasuke and co. but yet in the few appearances of Konoha 11 they looks just like average ninja.

The power scales are just SLOPPY. Naruto,Sasuke,Madara,etc are just too OP. They make everyone else look extreamly weak.
