Small Darui analysis

Darui is a jonin from the Hidden Cloud and the Raikages right hand man.

Personality

Darui is the calm and cool under pressure type of guy. He's laid back which you could also call him lazy, he usually refers to this as "dull". But when things get serious, Darui is the first one to jump into the battlefeild. He will do anything to protect the 4th Raikage (who he refers to as "boss") wether it be physically or verbally.

Appearance

Darui is above average height, very dark skinned with his long hair covering his left eye. He wears the standard Cloud flak jacket. Darui also has the symbols for water (水) and lightning (雷) tattooed on his right and left shoulders. This shows his Water Release and Lightning Release, as well as his kekkei genkai, the Storm Release. The tattoo on his left arm also symbolizes that he inherited the Third Raikage's black lightning. His sword is a broad, foldable sword which he carries on his back.

Abilities

Darui is a highly skilled shinobi. He learned how to create black lightning with the guidance of the Third Raikage, making his lightning-based techniques ridiculously strong. While researching him I was kinda suprised to find out his chakra is insane. Darui earned the 4th Raikages praise because of his abilities and was apointed his right-hand man. He is also very intelligent. This was witnessed when he uncovered the mechanisms of the Treasured Tools during his battle with the Gold and Silver Brothers. He is also quite adamant in Kenjutsu as we've seen against Suigetsu and soon in the anime against Ginkaku and Kinkaku.

The Storm Release

Don't let the name of this nature fool you, it doesn't manipulate storms. It actually manipulates beams of electricity that flow like water. The name "Storm Release" symbolizes the natures used to make this nature(lightning and water). The move we have seen him use of this nature was fired at Sasuke at the Kage Summit, it's called Laser Circus.

Darui is an interesting character and definitely exciting to see on the battlefield. Can't wait to see his next fight animated .
