suggestion about tobi identity and manga

hello narutobase, i am pleased to suggest you people.

Narutobase is certainly an enjoyable site, but i have some suggestions to make, these include:

1) I believe you people should create a contest thread about tobis identity and conduct a bet/gamble on it... and the winner should receive some award or reputation, 'i guessed who the masked man is'

Also i have another suggestion

2) As we all know a manga is released weekly, during this time period of 7 days i think you should conduct a contest about what will happen and the winner should receive some sort of award

i!am just suggesting you and not forcing you, so plz would you take this into consideration and maybe create something similar

There would probably be more disputes over who won then it'd be worth. Any tiny detail and people would grab ahold and try to argue that they didn't specify clear enough

As for the suggestion itself, well, I'm honestly not a big fan of it. However, once the big reveal approaches, the rest of the Staff might go for a mini-contest...

Hmmm no, I'm not in favor for it. Outside that they're both very unreasonable and unpractical, these are not things worthy of being a contest.

There are only a handful of real possible candidates for Tobi and it's almost impossible to find out who said a specific possibility for the first time or in the case when it's just a gamble, then we should give potentially an award to hundreds of members. Also the stories keeps going, so the closer you get to the end, the more chance you have to get something right.

Same for the other suggestion, do we need to waste our time each week searching all predictions to find who was 'right', which is by its very definition extremely vague? When is someone right and when not? It's easy to make a prediction of some very global events that are possibly going to take place. Or it's possible someone by shear coincidence says something right, but by using a complete wrong argumentation, which would thus be nothing more than a wild gamble. Not to mention who says that prediction was really made by that person?

This is practically undoable and overall I don't find any of this worthy of making a contest out of it.

I have to agree with this, and add, when Tobi's identity is finally revealed the moderators will be overwhelmed closing and merging and deleting hundreds if not thousands of threads. It was bad enough when the six coffin was revealed as Madara.

We already have enough spam as it is. Only thing such a contest would generate is even higher number of of pointless posts and threads.
