Naruto generations getting weaker and weaker

Wasnt it stated that all generations in Naruto get stronger and stronger and surpass the last ones?

I dont see any proof. Nobody surpasses So6p. The rinnegan devolved into lame Sharingan. The senjus split into many weak guys.

Only Madara and Hashirama were the only strong known after So6p and his sons. (Maybe there were some guys in between that had comparable powers, but there are not really hints for this)

So who did surpass so far the prev. generation besides Naruto?

Shikaku is better than Shikamaru. Kakashi didnt surpass his father.
The fat guy surpassed his father. Naruto did too. Sakura did kinda.
Else: no plan. Nobody surpassed Hashi and Madara till now. So ...

thats like saying people playing basketball are getting worse because nobody is better than michael jordan. ofcourse there are gonna be individuals who will be stronger than the next generation, freaks of nature. but OVERALL most of the newer generations are coming up with more skill/ninjutsus/techniques etc etc. just like in sports.

The younger is stronger then the older, but it doesn't mean the rule applys to every shinobi in the manga.

Obivously when you are comparing Kage to boring issue ninja, they are obviously better in the context that they know more and have infinate energy. due to edo

One thing you need to know is that in the time of hashirama and madara there was constant war and therefore constant battles pushing shinobi to continuously surpass their limits. Nowadays the world is mainly at peace only every now and then filled violence. Because of that, most shinobi aren't pushed like they used to be, and therefore weaker.

Dude how are you going to leave our people such as Gaara surpass his fathers golden sand, kimimaro surpassed his whole clan to the point they feared him, itachi surpassed everyone except madara (kinda sasuke he surpass itachi him some areas), Pein ( yes, i said pein cause he did surpass his Jiraiya, choji surpassed his father, kabuto surpassed Orochimaru.

I know i missed some too, but damn man you could have said more instead of making it sound like so many of them are weak.

Dude remember the age diffrence, naruto/sasuke etc... are all only teens. Imagine how OP they would be at the same age as Hashi/Madara.

i see where youre coming from but you fail to realize the other examples that disprove your points. just go back from the very beginning of Naruto and work your way to the present.

the new generation supassing the old hasnt always been about power or strength btw, its been about philisophical views and "the ninja way" or "nindo way". the new surpassing the new is always proven when the younger ninjas defeat the older bad guy ninjas in battle AND also disproves the bad ninjas way of thinking with their younger new ninja way of thinking.

dont look at it by the strength but look at it from the way of thinking and examples of what im talking about:

Naruto vs Zabuza (Naruto convinced Zabuza that ninjas arent just tools)
Naruto and Neji vs Hyuuga Clan (their desires to change the old family clan system of the Hyuuga clan)
Obito vs Kakashi (Kakashi following the old rule of fulfilling the mission. Obito disobeying and prioritizing his friends)
Naruto and Gaara vs Chiyo (Naruto and Gaaras friendship proves that villages can become strong allies and not be enemies)
Gaara vs Oonoiki (proves that alliances are important)
Oonoiki vs Muu (same as above)
Samui and Darui vs Kin Gin Bros (words are used to help not hurt)
Naruto vs Pain (Naruto will find "the answer" to end pain and ninja wars)

etc etc. these philosophical views are always being compared with the younger generation proving to be better and more promising then the old. this is a reocurring theme that the old ninja ways sucked and the new way made by the new generation is better. i believe this is what it means that the "old surpasses the new"

Most likely , like hundreds if not thousands of years , seperate Rikudo Sennin and Madara + Hashirama.

you obviously don't understand naruto series or what kishi is trying to make people understand.

Naruto is not about just raw power or fighting. Naruto has more meaning and it's more complex. It's not just one simple story

Naruto involves everything. Fighting Spirit, intelligence, endurance, power, etc etc. In naruto, one person can have the most enormous power, chakra and still lose to someone weaker in power but stronger in in intelligence and spirit.

From what I see in the manga the new generation ARE surpassing the old ones in ethics, intellect, and innate ability. Skankuro is still better than Sasori without his puppet body. Kabuto is better than Orochimaru. Naruto is better than Jiraiya...

...But broken bloodlines are still better than any amount of skill, and the bloodlines are DILUTING so it gives the new generations the impression of being weaker. This forces non Bloodline ninja like Orochimaru to modify their genes to stand a chance to the unfair advantage that Bloodline Limit users like Madara and Harishima have.
