IMO there's going to be a lot of speculation on if Team Guy can break Tayuya's genjutsu via the Byakugan or a large burst of chakra (the Gates).

You guys forget Tayuya's genjutsu, and Kidomaru's long range spider weaps, plus Sakons roshomon and ability to split, all covering a healthy CM2 Kimimaro.

Sound Genjitsu is areal Genjitsu and i don't see how tenten and Lee could able to escape from it. Kimimaro is able to kill them instantly when they caught into Genjitsu. Kidimaro would support/protect Kimimaro from long range. Akon/Sakon is would be tanked Gai thanks for fast healing weird tech. Fat one would trapped Neji into. If Gai starts with 8 gates he must beat them all or less 3 of them due to advantege like 2v4. But it would be great fight due to most of them Taijutsu fighter not insane lvl jutsus more balanced. It goes either. But i think Sound 5 is closest one. %51- %49

Gai easily solos, Lee solos, and Neji has the potential to solo. All 4 as a team vs the sound 5? Bitch please, they curb stomp like no tomorrow.

It's not speculation, it can. All of that stuff is viable methods.

theyve got no counter to genjutsu if neji hears it too. tayuya can provide easy support while the muscle (sakon and kimimaro) take them on. kidomaru is a long distance fighter and lee cant do anything to him. but i think gai will destroy them so long as neji takes on kimimaro. speedblitz anyone?
