Since Kishimoto fails to provide us with a lot of Tenten moments I only remember that she can be fierce. Such as when she shook Lee awake in the Forest of Death and demanded if Naruto was going to fight Sasuke alone. Her goal is to be a strong female Ninja like Tsunade.

Pennsylvania of course. Or maybe Konoha...

She's not worthless. The idea of being able to launch hundreds of weapons in rapid motion is extremely useful. For one thing, it provides her team with a distraction to allow them to attack at close range.
