I actually think Naruto will become Hokage and then die at the hands of Sasuke. Naruto is always saying, "Until I become Hokage, I will not die"... or something like that.

I don't buy it anymore either. Im not a Sasuke hater by any means, but to me, if he truly regretted what Itachi had to go through, he would respect his wishes not act like a kid and say "I know you wanted to save the village, but im still destroying it" wtf?

My problem with it is this- when in the world can the fight happen?

It can't happen right now because Naruto has already been weakened and plot-no-jutsu ensures that he is the one character who wont die at Sasuke's hands. But this means one of two things 1- Sasuke turns good 2- Sasuke can't reach Naruto until after the ninja war. Number 1 hasn't happened yet(but I think will to some degree) and number 2 would drag out the series. After the ninja war if he turns good the only thing to fight for is Hokage(which would be a pretty dumb thing to almost fight to the death over) and something Sasuke doesn't want anyways. If he's still bad once he reaches Naruto it would be more like all of konoha vs. Sasuke. Do you really think the Leaf would send Naruto off to die after (predicting here) helping defeat Tobi? It also wouldn't be as dramatic if it happened after the war.

All I'm saying is that it would be an unfair fight and a slap in the face to Sasuke if they begin their fight while Naruto is already half dead.

I agree somewhat. If this is really true, then what i predict is that Sasuke is trying to finish off what Itachi failed at, and in order to do this he is following the same path as Itachi and lying to gain Tobi's trust. In order to do this he has to lie to everybody, even himself.
