Hold up! Did I miss something with Sasuke and Itachi???

Well...Itachi's gone and I'm a bit confused...maybe I missed a chapter or two.
Itachi said that after they defeated kabuto they were going to have a talk, right? He promised! So...did they already have that talk? Was it when Itachi was explaining Izanami? I expected more than that. Or did Itachi just lie to his brother again? Any thoughts?
