lmao Hiruzen Sarutobi literally had the title so he's actually the "GOD of Shinobi", but the whole "GOD" is Tye Sage Of The 6 Paths....
GOD - has group in the 1,000,000s that believen in him, but have never seen him in person, they claim he is the "creator" of all things
Sage Of The 6 Paths - All the ninja of NARUTO have heard of him, the majority of them believe he existed/exist, none have seen him in person, they claim he is the "creator" of ninjutsu

I will say this once more:
Hashirama is the strongest Hokage, however Hiruzen can still defeat him.

Those are google definitions of the term god that relates to so6p and hiruzen..
They are praised for their power and superior qualities... for their knowledge in ninjutsu that makes them seem so above normal..

They said hash was the strongest shinobi of his time and that hiruzen was the strongest hokage of 1-4 hokages... That tell us who is stronger. Its in the manga and tobi didnt say it so it must be TRUE!!!!
Hiruzen had the actual title so he is indeed The GOD of Shinobi, that's like in the UFC, if I hold the Lightweight Champion title, then I'm the champ. You may thihk your favorite fighter is the champ but the don't have the title so they're not.... End of discussion lol

And also Tsunade saw the third Hokage in his prime.. Yet she has not stated that the third could beat him..
Personally kishimoto pulled out the "hashirama card" to early in the show. He made the first hokage look like a joke .. and then now suddenly the first hokage has the power to stop Edo madara. x-x.
Hes not being "selective" Iruka NEVER SAW the Third hokage in his prime.. or the first.. hell he was a lil kid when minato was hokage. And Dan knew about Hiruzen's strength.. unless he had no idea about how strong his hokage was and was just a lacky who just dreamed about being hokage.. (which i doubt). So, Dan a guy who knows more about the Third HOKAGE says the First hokage is the only one who can beat madara. That is CREDIBLE.

They said hashirama was the most Strongest shinobi of his time, he was the most feared.. most respected. Everyone acknowledged his surpriorty. If we count the anime. Then he has the nickname "the best ninja" (given to him by kabuto)
Third hokage was called the "GOD OF SHINOBI" in his prime.. he shared the same nickname as the original God of Shinobi SO6P. And also he was called the Proffesor for knowing all of Leaf-villages jutsus.... and mastering battle forms.
Now those are the "nicknames" and their prowess to the world..
NOW lets talk about the power they have shown.... or their techniques. JUST BECAUSE SARUTOBI KNOWS ALL THE LEAF'S JUTSUS doesn't mean he can use them. And the ones he used weren't really that awsome at all. And the fight was not a all out fight.. The first hokage and the second hokage moved when Oro told them.. When Oro and sarutobi talked the Hokages stood still. SO im not gonna base Hashirama's "true" powers based on that lil fight. But for a guy who shared the same name as the Sage of 6 paths.... he showed nothing special.
Now hashirama, We have yet not seen him in a fight.. But we do know of his power And his power is way beyond anything of Sarutobi's power that was either said or showed.
But EDO MADARA SAYING THAT HASHIRAMA IS THE ONLYYY ONE THAT CAN STOP HIM.... EVEN AFTER ALL OF MADARA'S UPGRADES..... come on now.
Also, Hashirama had the Scroll of Seals ;x.
So with all this Hashirama by anime, and the manga.. out does any feat or Hype of Sarutobi's

Hyperbole=/=Actual feats. Kishi never said Hiruzen was the strongest hokage. The DB only says the Hiruzen WAS CALLED the strongest hokage by other shonobi. As far as I'm concerned Hiruzen has no actual feats is only hyped by Iruka and Kabuto. If we're gonna follow flawed interpretation of the outdated databooks then kusanagi blade really does cut through anything, amaterasu really is as hot as the sun and Tobi is Madara. For the raised power scaling argument it works both ways. Did you need to talk to kishi personally to know the characters are stronger in part 2 ,ergo a change in the story? no it's just something that is obvious like Hashirama's power.

I made a thread and I asked “Who said hiruzen is the strongest” Someone replied the author in the databooks. I was then laughed that and abused by hiruzen fans saying haha you can’t argue with what kishi says.
Don't believe me then go to post #491 on this page.
Then some wise guy posted the quotes from the data book then once again I was laughed at an abused lol
However this was his mistake I read the quotes from the data book very carefully and it said he was called all these things and it was never stated by kishi himself that he was.
So this is how I proved them wrong that kishi did not directly say that hiruzen was the strongest himself but said that he was called. No one made an argument against this all was fine for about an hour and (then guys you’re going to love this). All the hiruzen fans changed their argument to “orochimaru, kabuto and many others said this..”
So I re-read all of these scenes again and found out the hiruzen fans made the same mistake as they did with kishi, orochimaru never said he was any of these things but said he was “called” (Do really want scans go look yourself)
Kabuto never said he was the greatest hokage but said he was the greatest kage of his generation.(go look yourself hiruzen fans)
So that leaves the many others, you’re gonna love this guys the others which they have talked about were Iruka and Ebisu. The fodderest fodders around. Elders didn’t even mention any of these things that was made up by a (not all just one)hiruzen fan.

All was good they had realise their mistakes but your gonna love this guys they changed and I repeat changed their argument to say that hiruzen beat oro, hashi and tobi at old age so it is obvious he is the strongest.
Yet they fail to realise the following:
Hashi and tobi were mindless killing machines they did not have their own personalities and did not fight how they would if they were in control of their own bodies all they did was charge, attack and counter.
Another thing they didn’t realise oro was in control of their bodies oro did not know what they (mainly hashi) was truly capable of. This is why when kabuto revived madara after altering his body he left madara to be in control of his body (correcting the mistake oro did) and said something like “now I can finally witness a fragment of the so6p’s power”. Kabuto did not know what madara could do but he knew madara would be on his side anyway so he could leave him to do what he was truly capable of something oro could not because hashi and tobi would not fight hiruzen if he didn’t turn them to mindless killing machines.
Hiruzen did not win this battle in any way, hashi increased his mokuton to the size of the barrier they were locked in. (notice mindless hashi couldn’t use his landscape changing abilities they were locked in a small area, also oro was in control and turned him into mindless zombie.)
Hiruzen realised there is no way he is going to win this battle so his only hope to protect the village was to give his life using RDS because there was no hope of him winning.
It doesn’t end there he couldn’t even beat his student, why? Because oro stabbed a sword through his chest preventing him from sealing him completely
Yes hiruzen stood his ground but he is hokage for a reason.

I dont knw whaaat 2 say I just started hating hiruzen bcuz of comparison lyk this he was just considered the strongest kage which he wasn't nd he is nothin compared 2 hashi. even in his prime cuzzzz' that was Naruto the old series when he was considered the strongest hokagee and this is currently shippuden where hashirama. is considered 2 have godly powers and the strongest villain ever seen Madara himself praising Hashirama den who the hell is Hiruzen i think Hiruzen is the first and last character i ever hated
