Given the revelations by Madara in chapter 589, I think we are going to eventually see Sasuke with the perfect Susano'o go up against Naruto with perfect bijuu mode! They are going to reshape the landscape! And this is exactly what Tobi wants. He said Naruto is just a pawn he wants Sasuke to fight against. I wonder why he wants to sync Sasuke with the Gedo Mazo.

Any thoughts?

That being said, they probably will battle eachother as equals as they have always have so far, and might even team up against Tobi, since he's really that much more powerfull than both of them.

what amazed me is that ALL the edo that have been sealed and restrained are disappearing. So I guess unless the soul itself is sealed away you can release edo tensei and bring all the bodies back and use them again.

maybe he has to preperate them again after he released them.
that means new sacrifices and dna.
release and resummon are different in the meaning.

All these things we're seeing are pretty much foreshadows of their battle. Sasuke'll probably have perfect susano'o and maybe even the Rinnegan. Naruto'll perfect his tailed beast mode and, if he gets chakra from Shukaku and Gyuki too, probably'll have the power of all nine tailed beasts at his disposal. Basically, by the time they fight, it'll pretty much be the full power of the Sage's "eyes" going up against the full power of his "body". Everything in the manga basically revolves around them, so they're gonna end up being the two most powerful characters at some point.
