My first AMV - Feedback Please :)

Hey guys I’ve been talking about making an AMV for a while now and it’s finally finish. Thanks for the people who helped me in the Fan Video section and told me how I could get naruto episodes convert them etc..

If you like the video could you go on youtube and like the video, small videos like this don’t ever get noticed without likes and views, it would really help.
Tell me what you thought of it in this thread.

For other AMV makers out there or anyone, could you also leave posts on this thread telling me improvements as this is my first AMV.

It's pretty long, but hey so are OVA's and Naruto episodes but we still enjoy them. So I hope I did a good job making this entertaining for all us naruto fans out there:

Not great, AMV's are all about the music and you haven't really got a good track, it's feels more like your explaining the history of the Uchiha's rather than an AMV

Still it is only your first so keep going

This is my favourite AMV, love the song and the clips fit in perfectly

not bad at all, i feel like youre going more towards the conveyance of information rather than the pure entertainment i see others try for, in the future finding the balance between these 2 aspects will define your videos hopefully for the better, but good show none the less

Thanks xd, that AMV you posted was awesome! Must of taking the guy ages to make but it's a really great example of an amazing AMV.

Good for a beginner amv

What program do you use? Vegas?

The music in certain scenes wasn't fitting with the clips at all, and the Vid clips don't seem to have any smooth flow to them.... It got MUCH better coming down to the Minato vs Tobi part, I can see you put in more work there, But you should have done it throughout ^^

The key for most amvs is making it have sort of timing with the music playing + Decent effects, Sometimes too much effects cause for a bad one... Basic white flashes etc all can help improve it. You'll get better at it with practice.. If you have Adobe after effects you can do even more things..


I see the theme of music you were going for here, Maybe next time however you can try something faster that will make your amv more action packed.. Alternative and hard rock Usually go well with most amvs...

Yh I was, the next amv I am planing to make is an action so hopefully it will be epic xd

Good , I started off with Movie maker also I guess it's a good base, But if you want you could get sony vegas to make much better vids,

Just watch the vid i posted, and remember that sometimes fast paced = better

The best amvs may take days to make , hard work ^^
