Well it seems like ur defination of base is: the state where naruto wldnt have anything, but sasuke wld have his ems and wld easily pound him to pieces. That may be ur base BUT definately not FAIR.

I got my defination from the logic: base = basic = regular = no extra stuff = no KKG, biju only LEARNABLE stuff.

Atleast provide the logic of ur statements.

This "Naruto < Sage Mode < Kyuubi Mode < Bijuu Mode" is as much true as "sasuke < Sharingan < MS < EMS"

Where:
Sasuke > Naruto
Sharingan+Sasuke <= SM+Naruto
MS <= KM
EMS <= BM
EMS < BM + SM
SO it all comes to the defination base...... which still means As i stated b4 (to my logic) base mode means only the powers and abilities that can be LEARNED through hard work or luck. Thus it excludes KKGs, biju etc Which includes SM as it can learned but not sharingan as it cant be learned

What is the basis of ur assumption of meaning of base? thats what i want to know..... cos (As u put it) NORMAL ppl CAN learn sage mode.

I'm on your side but what you need to realise is that the bijuu's are a gift from the sage of six paths to the shinobi world. They are "Chakra monsters" as tobi would say so kurama in naruto is a gift and is an external source of power, where as with the uchiha their powers are internal they just have to do certain conditions to unlock it. Naruto's strength without kurama would just be a perfect sage mode even stronger then the one he used against nagato, as ma and pa would be able to merge with him.

The fourth hokage gave naruto this external strength as he knew would day he would be able to control it. So just as his dad wanted naruto is strong because of kurama, his dad left him this power.

The reason I say im on your side is because I don't care that kurama was giving to naruto that is how the story goes! so everyone complaining about this should stop watching if they care so much. The fourth hokage died to give naruto this strength, he went through so much pain because kurama was inside him so to me he deserves it.

BIG Correction, remember in the academy days when they were still both Genin, Naruto failed the test while Sasuke and Sakura breezed it. That point Naruto was not capitalizing on his Kyubi chakra nor Sasuke have not activated his Sharingan. IF the story continued in that state then Sasuke could have easily beaten Naruto in the Chunnin exam (if both of them never had those specialized ability). SO if you are going to compare the normal Naruto versus the normal Sasuke... ability wise Sasuke won this round.

Didn't I say that was a joke everyone knows EMS isn't Sasuke base. Minato would probably be the best example of someone on there base he doesn't use Sage mode, Kyuubi mode.

So they are basically using the power every other shinobi has, in a more effective way so do u call that beyond normal?

I think u need to read more recent chapters. That was in part 1 u know, both sasuke and naruto have improved since then. Or should i consider that sasuke can do only two chidori per day? (see:

Yes cos if his opponent was as talented in that aspect as him he wld be able to do it too, but if the opponent practised/mastered something else.... he must so now must pay for it or take advantage ..... that is the basis of comparison, wheather learnable or not. Having a KKG or a biju gives u a great advantage that ur opponent never can make up for if they are regular people, so it wld be a one sided match. So one need to balance the scales and consider a fair comparison basis and apply it EQUALLY AND WITHOUT BIAS on BOTH of the opponents. or I can say chhidori nagashi surrounds sasuke in lighning threads even after the technique is over and thus making him unapproachable so he is in a covered-in-lighning mode, or if sasuke uses more than usual chakra for a chidori it can be called a power boost.
