you're too ignorant, that's what he meant. I agree.
What is your point?

I know I am ignorant on many things. You are right. There is a reason that I gave that type of response. I just wanted to respond, because the thread maker might not have thought people explained thoroughly enough why they thought it was wrong. My intention was not to hurt anyone's feelings, so I am very sorry if I hurt yours.I was trying to give an explanation without getting to into detail about Christianity, so I left out things I wanted to say, like how I believe that God still loves everyone, God has mercy, etc. I did not want to get the thread banned by turning it into a religious argument. I tried to explain what the effects are. Because it seemed like some people thought that anyone can do what they want and it will not effect them. I was trying to explain why it would possibly have negative effects without getting into a religious argument, because there are certain Narutobase rules. I did not try criticize homosexuals, and I did not single any homosexual out for a reason. The points were in general terms. Really though, I was trying not to make my messages offensive, because I saw that you said you take it personal. It was meant to be helpful, but people seemed think they new my intentions. Posting on this thread was not for me. Who on the thread would actually care about me anyway? Sorry for the long explanation. U_U Still, I spent some more time typing this because I wanted to say what I believe without people getting angry. I just tried to say what I thought I should. The responses I received were hurtful, because I said those things for God, but instead I kept getting people angry.
Very sorry if you have been hurt. No one has to believe it, anyway bye
We live In a world of labels. Everything has a lable and everthing falls into a category. But who are we to contradict another human being, when we are all In the same "boat" living In this harsh reality?
1. Selfishness: This is a natural instinct. The opposite of selfishness, which is selflessness, is something that we must become aware of through instinct & knowledge & continiue to develope as an act or moral value. Therefore it is not instinct (natural). For example, When you are hungry. The first thought that appears In your head isnt "Is someone hungry?" or "I wonder how many people are hungry?" No. The first thought that appears In your head is "I am hungry" or "Man, I'm starving" Your concern for someone elses hunger such as "Are you hungry?" or "I'm starving, what about you?" comes secondary to your own desire, therfore it is not instinct. This is selfishness, on a small scale, but it is still selfishness. Being selfish is inevitable, because human beings are natrually selfish. How can instinct be labeled as wrong? It cant. I dont think it is selfishness itself that we are aware of, but rather the guilt of being selfish that bothers us.
2.A strong desire for lust (being a "pervert"):An extreamly strong *** drive, or strong desire for lust, is something that has been labeled by all areas of society. Religion, culture, gender, etc. It has been labeled from being called a sin, being "perverted" or "a pervert" etc, etc. Humans are natrually sexually oriented creatures. EVERY human being (Excluding children) has experieced a desire for lust in some kind of way. Weither it was a thought, a reaction, or an actual act of sexuality. However, there are some of us who have a stonger desire for this than other human beings. Those of us who have more than just "a stong *** drive" have been labeled for something that we natrually feel. We are either called a pervert, a wh***, etc. How is this wrong? Is there a limit on the amount of sexual desire that a human being can have before he or she falls into a category? You can measure, pounds & inches, etc. But you cannot measure the emotion or desire of another human being. Once again, I feel that guilt plays a huge role In people who are like this an feel ashamed. Why should you feel guilt from something that is human nature? Your human nature.
3.Homosexuality: This is also something that has been highly looked down upon. Here is something that most people dont realize about gays. Gays do not wake up one day and say "I think I want to be gay" or "From now own, I am gay". Is it possible that a scenario like this can occurr and one can put this into a form of practice? Yes, it is. But it would be false. We cannot change what we are attracted to at will. A straight man cannot wake up one day & say "Today I'm going to be attracted to men." because he is straight, if he does so other wise that would change his sexual preference. There are only two things 1.You must become AWARE that you are gay, 2.You must ACCEPT that you are gay. Gays are instinctively attracted to the same gender, attaction is a natural human instinct. When someone says "I think I'm gay" or "I might be turning gay" they are becoming aware of something that they have been all along. They just hadnt discovered it instictively or became aware of it. When someone finally admits that they are gay, they are accepting their sexual preference which is what they are attracted to. How the hell is it wrong to be natrually attacted to something? Does that make any sense at all? I dont think it does.
4.Being Fat (overweight):Being fat is also something that is becomming more looked down upon as we progress. There is something that we all have as human beings, and that is free will. WE are In controll of our bodies. If we choose to eat a certain way or look a certain way, we have every right to do so as human beings. Some people are fat because of genetics, some are fat because of disorders, and some just became fat of their own free will. But how is this neccesarily wrong? There is pleasure In taste, even those who just "eat to live, not live to eat" find some amount of pleasure (non-sexual ofc) from taste and the satisfaction of being full. The pleasure of taste, and the satisfaction of being full is a natrual instinct, is there a limit on the amount of satisfaction that we can feel from food? And then people always play the "health risk card". EVERYONE is at risk of health problems. An athelete is at risk of permanantly damaging their bodies, or possibly obtaining a lethal injury. Even those who just "work out to stay healty" are at risk of harming themselve. Also being skinny does not make you healty. Skinny people can develope eating disorders to stay skinny, skinny people are also at risk of heart disease and other health issues as fat people are. Just because we feel a certain way about how something should look, or looks, we do not have the right to pass judgement on that individual. We are ALL human beings. And we can look any damn way we please because that is our natrual given right.
What do you think about these things? What do YOU think is right & wrong? If so then WHY? Also if there is something else that is labeled as wrong, but you think is right, please feel free to bring it up U_U.
Weeeeeeeeell.
I do agree to the extend that sexual attraction in the sense of 'love' and really being lustfully attracted to another individual cannot be forced. Not as far as I know, anyway. But I think you're fooling yourself here, because, and this has been done before and is still done in some cultures, it is not impossible to make homosexuals feel very disgusted about themselves, not at all.
Repetition can really work wonders. If I and everyone around you, from the moment you are born, continuously insists that homosexuality is a disease, that to be attracted to another of the same *** is to be an abomination, that ****-*** is terrible and that you'll be punished by a diety and your peers if you submit to this evil incarnate, then you sure as hell won't willingly 'become' a homosexual. I put Apostrophes around become, because, like you said, one cannot decide his/her own sexuality, but it can be affected by ones surroundings and oneself.
If I make you have intercourse with women, in this scnario you're a homosexual, and tell you that what you feel when you have intercourse with them is the epitome of pleasure and that the feeling is correct and good, then you, over time, will develop an acceptance when it comes to women.
You'll notice that while many homosexuals prefer intercourse with one of their ***, it is not impossible or disgusting in their eyes to have intercourse with one of the other ***. What you call 'homosexuality' is really just bisexuality on a larger scale. There are very few people, heterosexuals as homosexuals, that wouldn't be able to aim a tadbi of sexual attraction towards one of the same *** or opposite ***, but you'll notice how the society you live in has a huge effect on how you embrace your sexuality.
I hope this cleared some shizzle.

Do You Realize Homosexuality Is One Of The Most Protected Things In America These Days?? You're More Likely To Go To Jail For Insulting A Homosexual, Than For Stealing A Purse
If I were hiring people and two people of equal skill were presented to me and I had to pick between them I would pick the non-fat one. Do you know why? If someone cannot manage their own food intake and weight how can I trust them to handle making me money or managing my money?4.Being Fat (overweight):Being fat is also something that is becomming more looked down upon as we progress. Chill, we're all good. Props for I guess explaining yourself/apologizing. Don't see that alot today, so that's cool. We just disagree on a topic, no harm, you know?
I believe that homosexuality is not good for the person, so I do not support it. I will not get into that because I might offend someone....... And if people support homosexuality, then it might encourage the homosexuals to stay how they are. People just do not understand.......
Another thing I'd like to say just because .. :3
Before you criticize me, keep in mind this is my personal opinion.
Assuming is one of the worst things you could do.
"If the soul is left in darkness, sins will be committed. The guilty one is not he who commits the sin, but he who causes the darkness."
When someone does something like murder, the murderer goes to jail and gets criticized and hated by the entire population. Sometimes these acts are justified, maybe the person he/she murdered previously raped them all their life and they just reached their limit and killed them. But everyone points fingers at the murderer before knowing anything. Why? Because they see murder as the worst thing a person could possibly do and "I would never murder somebody, that's immoral" If you're pushed into a corner with no other options, you wouldn't be thinking that (Maybe it doesn't directly apply to you, don't flame me for it >.>)
I guess what I'm trying to also say is, humans assume.. Way more than they should. It's a bit ridiculous. I suppose you could argue that it's part of our human nature to try and "put two and two together" or "fill in the gaps" but how often are we correct when it comes to situations like I've stated above? Not too often..
Erghh, sorry for this entire post being completely opposite as to what your thread stands for, I just wanted to say this because it's been on my mind for the past two hours. :l
If I were hiring people and two people of equal skill were presented to me and I had to pick between them I would pick the non-fat one. Do you know why? If someone cannot manage their own food intake and weight how can I trust them to handle making me money or managing my money?
There are very few people that are fat because of how they were born. Unless your body has some rare disease then being fat is your fault. It is because you like to overindulge and eat too much of certain foods. It is your fault for being a fatass and it it your fault for eating that cheesecake last night.
Actually Athletes are known for having high recovery rates due to taking care of their body and properly exercising it. The best thing for recovery is actually exercise XD
I control my weight within 10 lbs. I can only go to 168 before my body has energy issues and so I stay between 170-180 at all times. When I go up and keep going up I eat less. When I go down and I keep going down I eat more. I manage my eating and have stayed at the perfect weight. Skinny people are quite healthy. Skeletons on the otherhand are not.
You have the right to look any way you want, but I also have the right to judge your fatass anyway I want as well. If you don't like me calling you a fatass then lose the weight tubby.
rofl That's definitely not true. It certainly is a current hot topic in America but that statement is not true seeing how thousands of kids get bullied and insulted for being a homosexual.
After actually reading it and thinking, here's my full opinion.
If people want to be pervy,I don'y care. Being selfish is a little harsh though.
If you're fat, than I don't care. People can do as they please.
I think someone being gay is normal or atleast not bad, you know?. They simple love a person and are attracted to the person. Most people freak out about it, but it doesn't affect their life at all. I'm straight and support gays 100% because I see it as bullying and it's wrong to try to segregate people/keep them from being happy.
Seperating self preservation & selfishness is inevitable, they are one in the same. We are not obligated NOT to be selfish. Here is an example, If your mother & a baby that you are not related to (a strangers baby) were about to be killed but you can save only one from dying, which would you choose? If you saved your mother instead that would be considered selfish. If you saved the baby instead, it would still be considered selfish because you let her die going by your own code of ethnics and what you think is right (meaning that you would think saving the baby would be the right thing to do.) Selfishness is inevitable. I hate to repeat myself, just go back and read #1 for yourself.
Whoa whoa whoa, where the In my thread did I condone rape? So now people are just twisting my words around eh? In my post I never told anyone it was ok to go rape someone and I dont appreciate you implying that I said that. And you speak of these taboo being forbidden by law, what laws? Laws of culture, religion, ethinics, etc? What about your law? Its not illegal to do these things, so what exactly is forbidden? If someone feels the need to sleep with their cousin, then thats their decision. We are not obligated to decide what is discuting because we are human beings ourselves. What about people being hypocritical? In my eyes being hypocrital is worst than incest. One thing I have learned from this post it that there is a gray area between belief, & reason of belief. People have SO many answers, execpt for their own.
WTF? Dude are you even aware of how stupid you sound? That wasnt the point of me posting #4. If your not going to take this topic serious, please dont comment. :sy:
Thank you for your response after the other previous one that I got. I do not know everything, but I just wanted to give information that I know of. And no I am not perfect. I never implied that. Do not take my posts as I am some guy who knows everything. You are right, there are other reasons. But they might not have been the root. I was saying the root cause of a fall being immorality. But you are right that just because a country is "moral" does not mean is immune to falling. But if you look at Rome, can you see it's lack of morals gave it a lot of internal strife leading to its demise? It is still might be complex, but I do not know all the complexities so I gave a general point.
To answer your question, of course two boys can love each other. But that does not mean that they have to perform homosexual acts. I never said that two people of the same gender cannot love each other.
Mother and Baby is too hypothetical, I guess you have no idea with the complexity of Decision Analysis.
To save someone from dying is already selflessness, it would only be a selfish act if you decide not to save any of them in fear of hurting yourself in the process. It’s you who doesn’t understand what “Selfishness” means. Live your life to fullest first, before sharing your half-baked experiences in life.
Now let me ask you, which of the following is selfishness if you have to choose a punishment condition:
Plucking your eyes out or decapitating your penis?
Read between the lines and understand what the message behind my post. A simpleton knows the domino effects of excessive *** drive. I don’t care if someone decides to sleep their relatives, but the possibility of having retards offspring is relatively high. Knowing what's wrong means knowing the adverse consequences.
I’m referring to the Law in relation to the Justice system; I can’t believe you missed that. Yet again, do what pleases you as long as you’re not hurting anyone in the process.
