pt. 1 Gaara(w/Shukaku) vs. Kimimaro

Same setup and location as their fight in the manga except Gaara has no restrictions like trying to protet Rock Lee so he is able to go all out like Kimimaro, take into account the cs2 vs Jinchuriki battle going on at the same time between Sasuke/Naruto.

NOTE: I will say Kimimaro is healthy assuming it will not make him stronger, but take away his restriction of having limited time.

Thje same exact fight happened in the manga except Gaara had help from Lee, and Kimimaro just happened to miraculously die the second before he killed Lee and Gaara. Kimimaro wins.

by protecting i meant he cant use the shukaku because he has no control over it and it would attack anyone regardless of whos side gaara is on.

I figured it was heavily out of character for that version of Gaara to release full Shukaku but if he did it here Kimimaro could easily climb Shukaku and kill Gaara while he's sleeping though.

Gaara should fight in partial transformation because full shukakku would have trouble with someone as small and fast as Kimi and Partially transformed jins are better matchups for CS2

Kimi wins again in shukaku mode gaara doesnt use his sand manipulation as much and uses close range combat and long range futon attacks both of which wouldnt do very well against kimi since his bones are hard as steel

Exactly. The only attempts he had to stop Naruto were already tanked by Kimimaro with ease, and his long range attacks aren't going to be much use as someone as small in comparison. Gaara already got stomped by sick Kimimaro previously with Lee's help, it's not going to change much.

Yes they do fight alike but in that form gaara doesnt plan out the little things like gathering the hardest material underground to increase the strenght of his sand defence he more comes at you full speed and trys to bite your neck off and his speed doesnt increase really he used the trees around him to slingshot himself toward sasuke since in this fight there placed in an open field I dont think his speed wouldnt cause to much trouble for kimi if at all

Thats true that Gaara uses mainly animal instinct when he is transformed but I dont think that his speed only increased because of the area, If you have giant extendable limbs made of sand you can realistically "slingshot" yourself using only the ground if you can picture what I mean. His strength is also overwhelming and his body in this form can tank a goukakyuu point blank and continue charging . Also it kind sounds like youre saying he can't increase the density of his sand when transformed, which there is no proof of either way but personally I would think he can just not to the same degree. I see can picture what you mean about using the ground but that would limit the movment by making him move in a straight line and stopping then reposition himself to do it again and kimi has the the best dodging feats of part one(100 chakra cloak naruto's couldnt touched him) so I kinda think dodging gaara would be easy but I do agree with you gaara with the shukaku would be able to smack around kimi but I think kimi would still win 7/10

Doesn't using the one tails take prep anyways? Gaara turns into a raging beast when he transforms due to not having the friendliest of relationships with his Bijuu. Physically strength isn't really going to cut it against Kimimaro, or at least not his partial transformation.
