gaara can use that time to keep making more sand till he has an ocean, and then the pyramid will stop the oil produced by jiraiya and gama. the only danger is letting jiraiya go to SM and use frog song

By using a Yomi Numa 3000 meters wide, or a boss summon sized Chou Odama Rasengan, or an ocean sized Goemon, or similar

Well considering neither Jiraiya or Tsunade can be killed in any forme thanks to Tsunade, and Gaara will never be able to hit him because of the multiple boss summons occupying the other team, but I digress.

That is not a danger unless Temari dies because her wind can disrupt the sound waves as showcased in her fight against Tayuya.
