What do yall think? Batman Rising or Amazing Spiderman

I know that Batman will be the better film, but I'm so jumped up for Spiderman too.

Dark Knight Rising, no contest. Recreating Spiderman isn't a good idea right now, I don't think it's necessary. Dark Knight would be an amazing movie though. Plot-wise and action-wise.

Remaking Spiderman is a fine idea in my opinion. It gives them the option of tying it into the Marvel films if they wish. Avengers 2 anyone?

But its not really compareable to batman, the plot/action in batman imo will be miles and miles ahead of spiderman, which will probably end up being predictable.

The Dark Knight was better than any of the recent Marvel movies (Avengers related) but that hasn't stopped anyone from liking them just as much as TDK.

I think they will both be good movies, but I'm more excited for Batman, because it's Batman!

Though I'm really hoping the new Spiderman movie does Spiderman justice because he was my favourite growing up (and the other three movies sucked).

Spiderman didn't suck. It was thousand times better than the old movies, the ones that had nothing to do with the original comic.

And I am going on a limb and say that Avengers won't have shit on Dark Knight Rises or Amazing Spider-Man.

And I was right, I enjoyed Spider-Man more than I enjoyed the Avengers.

The sheer brilliance of The Dark Knight sets the bar so high for The Dark Knight Rises that everyone is sooo massively hyped for it. Needless to say, I think TDKR is going to be an amazing film.

But on the other hand, Spiderman is a comic book icon. I won't say that Spiderman will be a worse movie than TDKR per say, but I don't think anyone will be less excited to see it either.


I don't think comparing these two movies with each other is a good way to measure anything. The fact of the matter is they will both be great and fun movies to watch.

Nolan however always makes exceptional movies, the only movie this year that is going to be better than TDKR is going to be the Hobbit

i hope ppl dont overrate Spiderman as much as they have overrated the Avengers
