So, Naruto gains the experiences from his fallen shadow clones, which is why he can train so fast. But, this kind of doesn't make sense when it comes to battle. My reasoning is that throughout the original Naruto and Shippuden, there have been a lot of times that he just sends a wave of clones out, they get pwned, and then the real Naruto goes in and wins. It makes sense he would win being that he should now know the enemy's fighting style, at least their taijutsu, but shouldn't his clones eventually be ridiculously good from all the times they have been beaten and the original Naruto learned from those failures? I mean they have failed in a thousand ways, and the real Naruto should have learned from every failure, yet the clones usually seem to be pretty bad. Why aren't they better yet? Thoughts?

I get that his clones in the war are awesome, I should have said pre-war. Shouldn't they have gotten better long ago?

His current shadow clones are wrestling with Kages xD

The thing is though when he use to call upon an army of shadow clones, they all pretty much died by the same cause and thus only really gained minimal experience. Plus Naruto once told Kakashi that he didn't realize that he was learning stuff before xD

I think that they have gotten better since now he can use SM clones and KM clones and they pretty badass, one SM even beat a kage

Well his clones seem to have drastically improved in the war. One single clone soloing the 3rd Raikage and all. Especially since they can each use SM and KM on their own.

True, but logically shouldn't they have been better long ago?

I think kage buunshin is one of the best techs, and strategically puts him on par with the sharingan, STRATEGICALLY. Re read the fight when he shows up to fight Kakuzu. The amount of clones he used was minimal and he quickly gained the upper hand. In fact he hasn't really used the thousand clone jutsu as much in Shippuden. Just at the very end of his fight with pain and when he fought the Kyuubi. Other then that he has kept the mount at a minimal and has been using them wisely.

The types of kage bushin

Infantary stlye – massive amount made in order to overwhelm the opponent (gennin level clone)
Jutsu assistant – the clone for the rasengan, the two for the rasenshuriken and the natural energy gatherers for the sage mode (tokubetsu jonnin)
Sage mode clone –powerful and resilient clones (jonnin level)
Bijuu chakra mode clone –kage level clone

A clone is only as powerful as the original. So of course as he gets stronger the clones will. Think about it what can you learn from getting punched in the face? not much right? so the clones didn't get much experience because there was nothing of importance to learn. they were just being pounded.

Yeah. but from that he should have learned how to counter attacks in better ways. Instead, they constantly fell for the same stuff.

Not hating on Naruto, I was just wondering about this.

Well i think it was said above that Naruto never noticed it. Remember he is supposed to be a loser dropout not a genius prodigy lol. Plus...maybe Kishi didnt think about the clones being used like that in the beginning...:flaw:

After he learned to use them in training, they should have gotten better but they didn't for quite some time. That's my point.
