Okay, this thread is actually really debatable imo. Do not say konan with 5mil bombs wins because that is not a ready technique it was a trap..

As we know Konan's ultimate weakness is fire and oil like techniques. She is extremely versatile. She has many explosive and can basically fly..

I believe she would have the upper hand in the fact that she has so many explosives. But asuma is an amazing shinobi, hidan got lucky really. Asuma cut his head off if it werent for kakuzu it was game over. But asuma has wind affinity and fire too i believe he is a also has great chakra control. Well let me know

Yes, she did do that. But over the years of living in the Rain village, she just became completely resistant against fire attacks basically. Oil is her true weakness.

He is bluntly underrated. He lost to Hidan after he already cut his head off because of kakuzu. Hidan is dangerous if you have no knowledge. Asuma was a guardian he mastered chakra control and his angelic stance taijutsu thing

I don't think I saw enough of asuma myself, he did not fair well against kisame, but I think kisame is up there in the akatsuki, so I can't say if that means he would have lost to konan.

I did not say anyone was not good. I just said I did not see enough of asume to say whether he was good enough to defeat konan
