If Kishimoto said Hiruzen was the strongest, then he's the strongest. Does he need to make a public announcement about this crap?

But Kishi writes the "characters words" so Kishi = Characters words

Then we have Databook > Kishi, but kishi also writes the Databook.

Then it becomes Kishi > Kishi, this doesnt make sense.

In a few words, Kishi changes his mind like i change cloths, every fking day. In my opinion the Hiruzen is god of shinobis statement is too old to use it until a new databook comes.

omg i was also about to mention this thing. even kakashi also mentioned that only thing that can surpass the 4th hokage can be u naruto. which means both iruka and kakashi thinks minato is the greatest hokage ever.:noc:

No you actually did not read the manga properly because it clearly states Madara lost, and possibly on purpose to get some of his Hashi DNA to be even stronger later on. However it does not change he lost, a VERY close battle. Speculation on his wife and shit is never even eluded to in the manga so thats not what happened

:flaw: people who say hiruzen> hashirama are just plan fanboys and they keep saying "kishi said that hiruzen was the god of shonibi". the facts are clear

1. hiruzen was owned by orochimaru so according to the people who believe everything everyone in the manga says that makes orochimaru the newst god but wait he was defeated by sasuke so does this make sasuke a god because he beat the guy who was considered the god of shonibi?

Dude, it was Oro+two kages vs Hiruzen (who was 69 years old).

Secondly, Sasuke only beat Oro because he was in a weakened state.

Sorry, I know there are a lot of threads about this, but people keep thinking that Hiruzen>Hashirama. It's annoying, so I must try to convince them otherwise.

Yes, I agree that Hiruzen was an amazing shinobi and worthy of being called Hokage. The fact that he's old and put up a hell of a fight against Oro and weaker versions of the first two Hokages are enough proof of how powerful he was. But in his fight against Shodaime and Nidaime:
Hashirama didn't use-
Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees
Water release
Earth release
Monster strength(He's apparently as strong or stronger than Tsunade)
Tobirama didn't use-
Space-time technique

You Hiruzen fanboys take "God of Shinobi" too literal. Kisame is called "The tailless tailed beast", is he really a tailed beast though? No, you idiots. Plus, when Iruka called Hiruzen "God of Shinobi", that was like what, within the first 50 chapters? I'm sure Kishi regrets that.

he wants fans to believe what they like so he can get most of it. he wants fans to fight over what they believe he is confusing the readers. and he dont want to show whos stronger. if they battle he make handicap so that fanboys keeps wondering what if an INFINITE IFS. its a good strategy to make his manga keeps going but I think its not fair for the readers. i blame kishi for all of this confusions

2) against Kyuubi he was around 54 and he didn't really get a chance to do anything
3) 69 years old Hiruzen against 50 years old Orochimaru in young body

i am not fanboy, and i say Hiruzen > Hashirama, at least until Kishi states that Hashirama > Hiruzen

and LOL, again, it wasn't just Orochimaru, it was Orochimaru + weaker Hashirama + weaker Tobirama vs 69 years old Hiruzen

wtf , when hiruzen is defeated u say he was old and oro had help of two edo hokages but it was 1vs1 battle and edo are wepons of oro so oro did pawned hiruzen even during his life time hiruzen hasnt fought any significant battles at all. so how on earth can u know what the extent of his powers. hiruzen got 1 chance to prove his worth during 9 tial + tobi attack on konoha but he was so noob and scared that he was asking for help of 4th hokage and hiruzen was just sitting at back watching 4th kick ass of tobi+9tail.

hiruzen has shown no feats what so ever and only iruka sensei mentioned hiruzen was strongest hokage and that was during ist 5 manga series. obviously hiruzen was hokage then so he had to be shown great but now we know hiruzen is nothing special agnst legendary ninjas like hashi or madara.

Woah woah woah, Nagato was > Naruto and was still > Naruto even in their last fight. Now that Naruto has BM, he has likely been surpassed by Naruto. However; Naruto vs. Nagato, both times, Naruto was given many, many advantages over Nagato.

But, I agree with you, Hashirama is stronger than Hiruzen

If anything, he's doing his job as a pissy writer. Kishi has seemingly gone back on so many things. :shrug:

Examples:

1. So the Byakugan isn't a descendant of the Sharingan? Or will Kishi troll us and pretend it was a mutation somewhere along the Elder Son's family line?

2. Izanagi and Izanami don't need Senju DNA, seeing that the Uchiha Clan was able to spam them...

3. He's confused the hell out of everyone with this whole Hashirama and Hiruzen debate.

4. Deva Path's 5 second interval should have easily been taken care of by Kakashi, through his previous speed feats, but Kishi seemed to forget all about those.

Not saying Naruto is a bad series, though.
