U are an idiot please watch the series or read the manga properly and thoroughly. When tobi/madara extracted the kyuubi from kushina she was busy dying but because she had a very strong chakra reserve (EVEN AMONG UZUMAKI) which are well known for the chakra ,she could hang on for a bit and when she chained the kyuubi down she told minato that he should just take naruto and flee or stand aside while she would drag the kyuubi with her to her death (when her a lil chakra that she had left runs out) thus delaying the kyuubi a few days which would give the village time to prepare for the next assualt. Her chakra was fading drastically after the extraction of kyuubi plus childbirth as well but she managed to live on a lil while longer probably to pin down the kyuubi and save her son. Also if Gaara was uzumaki then it would explain why he was able to keep the one tail like back ,since uzumaki has strong chakra reserves thus can somewhat push back if i can say the tailed beast chakra

so many things wrong here. first off i think when ppl said garra was uzumaki they were kidding. next, the 8-tails did say tails dont equal strength.not only because he didnt survive the extraction, its because his bro and sis would have to uzumaki also.
