If Kakashi became the 5th Hokage, would he be embarrassingly weak for a Kage?

People have the incorrect idea that Kakashi is better than some of the current kages. As I have previously mention, this idea is incorrect. The weakest of the kages appears to be Mei, but she we have seen the least from, and I truly doubt Kakashi would be able to defeat her. In reality, in their current battle, he WOULD be far more useless than any other kage. His jutsus are far less powerful overall, and he definitely has a far smaller chakra reserve than any of them. No way would he have been in any way useful in their combination attack that almost captured Madara. So yes, as the OP said, he would be embarrassed right now, just trying to get out alive.

I don't believe he'd be an embarrassment, but he wouldn't much more help than Tsunade. Seeing how she's tanking attacks and healing.

He has all the right ingredients he just needs a chakra boost for more clones more powerful lightning techs and more frequent and powerful uses of his MS warp skill.

Kakashi would be the strongest with onooki.He's fighting against 6 unbrided jinchurickis & Tobi , against the strongest characters & bijuu whereas the 5 kages are getting owned by Edo Madara .If Kakashi and Naruto was with the Kage team instead of Mei and Tsunade, he'd take the lead and make a great plan, plus his Mangekyou is very usefull to warp Madara with a teamwork.

Well Kakashi could have save everybody with Kamui against Madaras meteorite. If he does that, how can he be "useless". Without Kamui, almost everybody died coz of this jutsu in Gaaras battlefield. If he was there, maybe he could have done it.
With his raiden technic(that cut also Bijuus shrouds in V2), maybe he could have been usefull to cut through Susanoo(if it's possible?). Anyway with his strategy, his feints(raiton kage bunshin, etc) and technics, he could help others to look for opportunities.

If Tsunade is there to give him chakra(like she gave to Onoki for example), maybe he could use a great huge Kamui that could finish Madara? I think that personally, if kakashi is fighting with a medecin ninja like Tsunade(who can heal him and give him chakra), he could be one of the most dangerous opponent since he possess one of the most dangerous attack in NU.

Alone it could be difficult coz of his problem of stamina, but with medecins help, he could be really usefull and knowing his tactical methods in battle, it could be interesting i think

So at least on that point, Tsunade is currently one of the most important kages in the battle, along with Oonoki. The kage who could be replaced with Kakashi with the least change in the battle itself would be A, because they both have Raiton.

Power wise he might would be the 2nd weakest or weakest, it's debatable with Tsunade(given Tobirama has s/t techniques on par with Minato, Edo Tensei and suiton mastery, I would think Tobirama would rank ahead of Kakashi and Tsunade).

However, his ace in the hole can beat most characters. Who knows what Madara would do against kamui. Madara would have no clue that some man, who only has 1 sharingan could pull off MS.

Either way, he's the perfect battlefield commander, his calm nature would allow him to look at all situations without emotions getting in the way, and he's still a low to mid-kage tier ninja, and he's got an incredible ace in the hole.

So no, his tenure as hokage would not be labeled as embarrassing, in any way. All the elders, Jiraiya, Tsunade and Shikaku declared he'd be a fantastic hokage. That's good enough praise for me to believe.

Then tell me which kage would be replaced by Kakashi to produce the smallest change? I said A because particularly in the combo attack, the only contribution he made was his raiton. Besides that, when he got captured, it was by a sharingan genjutsu, so Kakashi himself would have probably fared better. Just saying that currently the least useful kage is A. An argument could be made for Mei.
