I dont get why people think that Hiruzen was so awesome, we never really saw him do anything amazing

We know that Hashi beat Madara so if we were to go by feats Hashi wins

The facts are that we dont know how strong a 100% Hiruzen or Hashirama is. One fact is that a very weakened Hiruzen bt a weakened Hashirama and Tobirama while still having to contend with Orochmaru. Another fact is that the manga and the databooks puts Hiruzen as the strongest. And thats as good as Kishi saying so himself. I myself doubt this but until the manga proves otherwise I'm gonna accept that the manga trumps my own opinion.

Every month or so there seems to be a new strongest shinobi. Itachi, Nagato, Minato and even the 3rd Raikage were all once fanatically hailed as the strongest(besides the SO6P). Today the Raikage's forgotten. In the future some other new strongest will come along and then you'll all forget about Hashirama. Like goldfish.

Huh. I never included Hiruzen vs EMS Madara.



EMS Madara is on a much higher level than Hiruzen? Do you have proof for that?

Hashirama was a good match for Madara because he knew all of his weaknesses and fought him his whole life...

There you go with your stupid myth theory. In your scenario, you're saying that every single 40-60 year old during Hiruzen's prime tried convincing everyone of Hashirama's prime (when they were in their 20's), yet not a single person believed them? That is waaay to far-fetched to be taken seriously. And you shouldn't talk to me about denial, seeing that you're actually using this theory, and the stuff you post in other threads.

lol its not a theory. its obviously stated that hashiramas power was a myth and manga>your opinion as you hiruzen fanboys like of say. you are saying that it is far-fetched but the manga supports it.

Hiruzen>1st,2nd,4th,5th- according to iruka?(do hiruzen fanboys actually think iruka is a reliable source of info? I mean the guy wasn't even old enough to have seen the full power of the 4th whatmore the 1st. Truth maybe that prime hiruzen may be the worst possible matchup for hashi(just as Pain was the worst possible matchup for Jiraiya) cos he knows all of hashi's techs but that doesn't mean he can defeat or accomplish all of hashi's feats. neither can he defeat madara. Eg- hiruzen could barely do much during the nine tails attack 16yrs ago(by then he would have been around 53) and the 4th had to do everything(don't you guys rather think hiruzen should have sacrificed then leaving the 4th to build up his legacy?)Besides, the manga called hiruzen god ofshinobi cos he knew over 1000 jutsus and he knew all jutsu in konoha,not cos he could apply them making excellent use of them(like hashi and minato) Quote:''its not about the number of techniques you know, its about what a shinobi is able to achieve during his life/the guts to never give up''- jiraiya

What they dont understand is ..the 3rd HAD to win to make the hokage look good it was a plot...when 3vs old man should have been an easy win for orochimaru...:sy:...redo that take of the toying ...flat out hiruzen dies fast ...and hashirama has a secret scroll with jutsus we've never heard about...and is a weapon master + can heal ...he would outlast hiruzen and bam

btw Hiruzen was so weak in the manga simply because Kishi couldn't make a good fight. You see Hashirama and Tobirama were also weak in part 1.
