Perfect Susano'o requires the Rinnegan.

In this thread I intend to thoroughly explain Susano'o's development, the different stages of Susano'o and how they are acquired. Let's start with this.

• First of all, Susano'o can only be acquired when one has the Mangekyo Sharingan, even then, it's a rarity for one to awaken, it is scarce, and not everyone can attain Susano'o.
  
• Secondly, the first form of Susano'o can be the arm, the rib cage and so on. We do not need to worry about these forms because any initial Mangekyo user who has Susano'o can use all of the different (basic manipulations) or version of Susano'o. I.e the arm or the rib cage.
  
• Thirdly, we all know that Susano'o differs in looks with each user, let us not confuse the looks of Susano'o with it's development. Although the looks heavily explain and give away clues to what developments have been made we have to be careful.

The first time that we got a glimpse of Susano'o was in the awesome battle that Sasuke and Itachi fought against one another.

Itachi's Susano'o (Mangekyo) was humanoid and similar to that of Sasuke's. Notice the face under the nose cannot be seen and the eyes are simply glowing. Also notice the humanoid features such as the eyes. This trait is present in Sasuke's Susano'o also (Mangekyo.)

We've now analyzed the features in the Mangekyo version of Susano'o. I think we do not need to analyze the weaker forms such as this version of Susano'o because concentrating on the final version will give away Susano'o's secrets.

We can conclude that all MS versions of Susano'o (Complete Versions) have these similar traits present in all Uchiha's Susano'o's (Mangekyo.)

1. They all have humanoid features. Eyes, ears, noses, hands etc.
   
2. They all have two sets of eyes. Look in the mouth of Itachi's Final Susano'o (Mangekyo) and you will see a pair of eyes. This is also present in Sasuke's Final Version (Mangekyo.)
   
3. The final, and mysterious trait that all MS versions of Susano'o all have is that they have a sort of diamond/jewel lodged deep in their forehead. This may have something to do with Chakra, as it reminds of me of Tsunade's jewel on her forehead.

Now let us analyze the EMS version of Susano'o. For obvious reasons we're only going to analyze Sasuke's because Madara's may have been enhanced by Hashirama's cells, and that would cause great confusion, and render this thread slightly pointless.

• There are a few things that change to Susano'o's appearance when one acquires the EMS. These things are as follows.
  
• After Sasuke gained the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, the second layer of it's armor changes its appearance. The mouth of the armour changes to a beak shape, giving it an even more menacing look.
  
• The skin on the right arm and right hand gains additional platings that gives the appearance of the skin peeling off and the armour itself becomes more ghastly in appearance.
  
• The orb is now made entirely of the flames of Amaterasu and the arrows are at least seemingly coated with the flames, as seen when one of them pierced White Zetsu and set him ablaze. (You seem to acquire a new Susano'o Technique when you acquire the EMS.)

And finally, we can analyze the Final and Perfect version of the Susano'o. Personally, I believe that Susano'o increases in it's power as the Dojutsu increases. It follows a pattern. Every an Uchiha with Susano'o upgrades his Dojutsu his Susano'o is also upgraded. It's an obvious pattern. I could be wrong, however, this is just what I think. This part of the thread could be wrong, but I'm sure the Mangekyo Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan's version of Susano'o has been analyzed correctly and efficiently.

Let us state the obvious changes.

• Madara's Susano'o still carries the attribute present in the MS version of Susano'o. The pair of eyes in the mouth.
  
• It also still carries the armor on it's arms that is present on Sasuke's Susano'o.
  
• It's armor is almost flowing of off it's head, and then going down from it's shoulders.

From the recent release of the Manga I can continue expanding this theory/explanation.

First of all we now know that Madara's Susano'o is extremely large, and resembles a Samurai.

As you can clearly see the size of his nose has increased, greatly. This change in Susano'o proves my theory/explanation is correct because throughout the different versions of Susano'o MS and EMS the nose has always changed. From this; A small humanoid nose.

To this; A larger, beak-like nose.

And finally to Madara's; An extremely large nose.

If you notice, it's nose keeps on increasing in size, due to the Rinnegan.

It's much larger than any Susano'o we've ever seen. I theorize that this is either thanks to the Rinnegan. One way I could prove my theory is that the traits present in the MS and EMS version are still there, and new traits are added. It would make perfect sense because people are questioning Hashirama's win against a Susano'o like this. I think he was using his previous version, and that's why he lost. Hashi would loose against such a Susano'o... In other words, each time your Dojutsu increases your Susano'o increases in it's power.

I'm going to try and make it as simply as possible for those who do not understand. It's like this; The reason why I think it requires the Rinnegan is because ever since we first saw Susano'o it was constantly being upgraded, when Sasuke got the EMS it increased. My point is that Susano'o can keep increasing when you fuel it with hatred, but there's a limit to which it can reach, for example. If you look at Itachi's (MS) Susano'o it's similar to Sasuke's but the peeling off armour effect on Sasuke's Susano'o is not present on Itachi's. Itachi's Susano'o has "reached it's limit" and it can't go any further without the EMS. Same with Sasuke, his has reached it's limit and to become perfect it requires the Rinnegan.

Susanoo itself is interesting though its origin isnt really explained its just some being that appears for MS users and apparently multiple versions can be present in the world. Perhaps its a reflection on the soul of the user and tied in to when their lineage contained the Juubi (a kickback from the creation of all things people are always crying about).

Let me just say this op. The huge susanoo is not from the reningan and or hashiramas cells. Its just how much madarachas mastered his full susanoo. that's y it has arms n legs.

I disagree. It has to be the Rinnegan/Hashirama's DNA because if you look at Itachi's Susano'o and Sasuke's neither of them have legs, and neither of them have Rinnegan or Hashirama's DNA.
