@sandomen remember that kimimarou was ill and also dont forget that gaara has an advantage over kimimarou.... kimimarou is a close range fighter to mid range, whiles gaara can stay at long range, not to mention if kimimarou lived through the time skip he would be alot stronger than he was then and i do believe he would put up a gd match against gaara .... not win but a gd match

Yes, Kimimaro is easily Kage level. I'm not sure he would make a good Kage, his techs mostly protecting himself rather than others, but he certaintly has the capacity. Too bad all the bosses in the series are screwed over by sickness.

Hes asuma level id say. Lee was probably at 50% power cuz of his surgery. Also, kimi was older than both of them, at kimis age gaara became kazekage and his powers increased by a landslide.

Yes I do agree but kimmi took pills from kabuto to improve strength stamina and endurance at the same time kimmi wasn't supposed to be moving u think he did all that threw will power will power can only go so far
But with that being said kimmi got a power up spicficly for capturing sasuke and bringing him back and without those pills he took he wouldn't have been able to move

Also a junjirichi witch gaara is always has a disadvantage not every junjirichi has a seal on the demon like naruto does gaara always has to keep himself in check or else the demon would take over and come out gaara was never able to use shikaku powers or chakra for himself or else it would try to take over
and gaara is always tired he could never sleep at all.... So yea he had a lot of exhaustion
Btw this has nothing to do with anything but do u remember gaara vs deidara b4 it was stated when ever gaara was unconscious or sleeping (he never slept after the demon came out that one time) the demon would take over tht was plot no jutsu that it didn't or am I bugging????

Thanks to that thread it made me think more about kimimaro's strength, now when there is a "rank your top 10 strongest characters" i'll have to place kimimaro in a greater ranked than i concidered him xd

He took pills from kabuto allowing him to move and get extra boost in stamina endurance and power the real kimmi couldn't move at that time
That's why he was hospitalized honestly we have never seen a healthy kimmi so we won't know and the fight with gaara he took pills so we don't really know what power he has on his own and his appearance in the war wasn't tht impressive...

ur right kimi shouldnt have been moving but that goes to show how bad the illness was i suppose but ye gaara did have to keep an eye on his chakra, but even gaara said that he would've lost if not for his illness.
and im a lil curious about that aswell but maybe its because he had more control over it then he used to

true but susano ribcage > kimimaro's bones tsunade would crush his defence ... but obvi its not just about strengh, tsunade also surived being peirced by madara and is still fighting on, im not saying he wouldnt be a gd match because he would be but tsunade just has a bit to much to handle for kimimarou
