Well if you count it like this (considering Uzumaki's are related to the Senju I believe):

Madara - Itachi - Sasuke

Hashirama - Nagato - Naruto

Then everything seems to be going according to plan...

Not really primarily for two reasons
1. Nagato and Naruto are Uzumaki. Which are distant enough from the Senju clan that the clans can marry into one another.
2. Nagato used eyes he got from an Uchiha therefore the rinnegan wasn't really his power. Naruto too uses the power of another being the Kyuubi. Without Kurama's power Naruto drops down to only Sage Mode Power Level and that isn't on par with Hashirama, Sasuke, or Itachi. Whereas, Hashirama's power was his own. He had two elements which he could use and could form those elements into mokuton. In addition he was able to heal himself without hand seals. There really has been no continuation of the Senju power to the degree of the Uchiha.
