Hiruzen probably knew how to use B.O.D too...

Orochimaru stated straight up, in front of Hashirama (user of B.O.D), that Hiruzen knew every jutsu that existed in Konoha. This probably meant during his reign as Hokage, and so the past jutsus would probably be included too (this is a maybe, hence the "probably" in the title).

Sure, Kishi might contradict himself in Parts 1 and 2, but in the same chapter? Doubt it. Unless Kishi meant every jutsu present specifically during Hiruzen's reign, and assuming that no one else had B.O.D. (Bringer of Darkness), or that Hashirama didn't teach it to Hiruzen (his student).

And hell, Hiruzen has a "5" in the databooks for Genjutsu. Also, therefore, Hiruzen probably had all of Hashirama's non-Mokuton techs, giving him an even higher advantage on Hiruzen > Hashirama. Not to mention the fact that Hiruzen probably knew how each of Hashirama's Mokuton techs work, therefore knowing possible counters. So I really don't see how Hashirama > Hiruzen through hype either.

Just sayin'. Therefore, Hiruzen probably had most of, if not all of, Hashirama's non-Mokuton techs. So I don't see how Hashirama > Hiruzen anyways.

Sometimes the manga contradict itself....If that was the case, why didn't he use it to kill Oro instead of using the other sealing tech....besides, he's shown no knowledge of him actually knowing the tech....so let's not assume because that's all you're doing....

I'm assuming that he knows it through manga proof ("The Professor," being Hashirama's student). And he seemed to know how the tech works, unless I'm mistaken.

The only thing the manga has shown is what was said....not actually shown, don't get it twisted of what was printed....That's just like saying Minato knew sage techniques just because his name was on the from summon contract...

......:sy:....Like I said before....if he knew every single existing tech, why did he result in using Death Reaper Seal than Bringer of Darkness?? Ask yourself than and when you come up with a valid acceptable answer, I'll back off.....

Well 1) Considering he was a master of genjutsu and knew thousands + having hashi and tobi as his teacher, he most liekly knew it..


He had to find a jutsu that could handle all 3 of them..With age he had only a little chakra and according to the anbu, couldn't use any high level jutsu... As far as we know Bod targets one person..how would that be effective against 3 ?

He did what he saw was all he could do in his state... 3 shadow clones splitting his chakra into 33 % each, Then DGS, and even then he didn't have enough chakra to fully handle oro's entire body

BOD vs BOD wouldn't really achieve much, would it? Then both parties would be blind.
