What?? (Like Naruto's not tried 20 times XD)
I mean I understand trusting someone to do something in your absence but if you happen to run into that person it’s the perfect chance! Itachi is just gambling now, he twisted his baby brother into a hate/rage filled monster but refuses to use Brotherly-Talk-No-Jutsu on him and would rather take a gamble on Naruto and the following outcomes:
- Sasuke is used by Tobi & Madara till he dies
- Sasuke is used by Tobi & Madara till they rule the world
- Sasuke gets attacked by the people he’s wronged (kages) and is killed before Naruto can help
- Naruto fails to talk Sasuke down and Sasuke kills Naruto
- Naruto fails to talk Sasuke down and Naruto kills Sasuke
- Naruto manages to talk Sasuke down
So that’s Sasuke’s, Innocent People, Shinobi, The Village and Naruto’s life in the balance all because Itachi won’t take five minutes to explain his side of the story to his brother.
This is obviously just plot-no-Jutsu in action, if I was gambling with money over positive and negative outcomes the negative is the safe bet here.
And yet it could all have been prevented both in the past and right now, Itachi just doesn’t want to put in the work for some reason.
