gaara can he defeat sasuke???

We have seen gaara doing really well against madara, base on all the fights gaara had, and this one do u believe he can defeat sasuke? If u don't please explain why. Probably gonna be hearing a lot about amaterasu and sasukes unbeatable susanoo, lol.

He never blocked Amaterasu and still doesn't have an answer for Amaterasu, and other speed attacks like Kirin and Susano'o arrow.

Sasuke also has an albeit incomplete, but still has Tsukuyomi. This was able to paralyze a perfect jinchuriki for a few seconds, so with no way out would definitely leave an opening in Gaara's defence for an easy Amaterasu kill

His attacks would pretty much all be rendered useless by Susano'o, and even if he 'yanks' him out, he can either regenerate Susano'o at his new location or just attack whilst he's busy pulling him out. This is if Gaara is on a sandy terrain and can get underneath Susano'o

Sasuke wins not because of amaterasu n susanoo even though he goin to use but because of chidori, kirin, n all his lightning jutsu.we already seen sasuke goin through garaa defence in part 1 i knw garaa got stronger but sasuke aswell n now sasuke have more lightning jutsu tht can go through garaa defence

Sasuke is my fav character after naruto. He's just overrated a lot by obses fanboys, plus I should have added if they were to fight in gaaras village 1 on1 no1 interfering

Sasuke's is bringing to much 2 the table.....Susanoo, Amaterasu, powerful genjutsu (which i doubt garra's ready for), speed (garra not the most mobile fighter).....Chidori (which has penetrated garra's sand before)... sasuke takes it with high diff though

Why do people bring the desert crap always? Deidara didn't go full out on Gaara and he won. Sasuke beat Deidara effortlessly in their encounter. The reason why Sasuke was tired because of the chidori he inflicted on himself. Gaara could beat Hebi Sasuke in the desert. But i doubt he can beat Taka Sasuke or EMS Sasuke in a desert. You forget that he can fly as well. :scorps:

Well, personally i think it gona be a quite a intense battle but sasuke has more chance of winning say (55+%) if gaara is not in a desert
This is my analysis:
1. yes gaara can block amaterasu read this:

even if he cant he can just use replacement jutsu.
2. Gaara's sand shield took nearly five wallop from madara's swords before breaking so its quite strong to stop projectiles.
3. Gaara can pull sasuke away from the ground just like he did madara
4. ems techniques take a lot of chakra, but sand techs are relatively less taxing.
5. gaara can fly now so no chidori.
Conclusion: Its not gona be a easy win, first one to make a mistake will die and sasuke tends to underestimate.

lol is true he can and his mother can two....... unless amaterasu moves faster than raikage v2 and that was garra on his own his mother reaction is better
