Disappointed in Itachi

Question is: are Uchihas able to express affection? Or even say something nice to another? I mean Itachi's affection towards Sasuke was poking him in the forehead and taunting him to make sure he got stronger ...
The only one who really showed any type of affection was their mother.
I think most Uchihas are just emotionally stunted. They don't know how to express positive feelings - since it's been shown they do know how to express anger, fury, etc ... Even regret a bit.
Anyway, I digress. I think Tobi will be the one who's going to be furious once he notices that his help is disappearing again ^^;

We do have Obito and Shisui, and Itachi was sweet as a kid. I think that they, while are acting high and mighty, still possess the ability to express themselves. It's just that we're so used to Sasuke being all grumpy (and later psychopathic) that we overlook that.

I still thought Itachi would lighten up a bit, honestly. The guy has not had an easy life. Let him have a few moments of carefree-ness, if that's even a word.

I think I would faint if I saw Itachi having a carefree moment. That guy is so serious and intens, I don't know if he even knows how to be carefree. Plus, well, him being dead and wanting to make things a bit easier for Naruto, would probably put a damper on his mood LOL

Well, he had one already...Dr. Snakes you know? I just love how everyone's always hyping/bashing Itachi, but his real flaw is his lousy sense of humor...

I seriously hope that the official translation will have another word to replace Dr Snakes ...
To be honest, I've seen more people hyping him than bashing him. It's Sasuke who gets bashed the most and always for stupid, ridiculous reasons that don't even make any sense.
But yeah Itachi's sense of humour was rather lousy xd

That's right! He might actually kill Kabuto to stop Itachi from disappearing! That way, the five Kage still have to deal with Madara (because let's face it, the internet would explode if Madara was defeated like that)

The new manga's out, and with it comes a bunch of new topics. It was a decent chapter if you ask me, but what really bugged me was Itachi.

I can understand that he's still serious, but shouldn't he lighten up and talk a little with Sasuke? The brother he supposedly loved more than the village? Also, I expected him to step up and at least TRY to knock some sense into Sasuke, not just leaving it to Naruto. 'Twas a bit cruel to say that he had no attachments left in the world to Sasuke's face, wasn't it?

I don't know, it just seems so out of character for him. What do you think?

Hes dead. He doesn't belong there anymore. Also, remember how he said that you can't do everything on your own? That's what he's doing right now.
I disagree with his decision, but Itachi does whats best for sasuke so :shrug:
Also, remember that kishi has a big thing with FAITH. Remember nagato? And hanzo? Itachis entrusting naruto with his faith.

The reason that itachi is behaving like he is, is because he has already failed, died and left things into naruto's hands. Now edo tensei is a jutsu created by konoha so basically edo tensei is konoha's fault and is now unleashed, itachi knows he is not meant to be alive right now so he is correcting that and only that. His only goal is to stop this forbidden jutsu edo tensei and restore the world to normal.

Itachi does not want to tamper with the natural world. Why? I don't know guess that's just him but also he said he would let naruto handle it, itachi said that when he was alive he started to not trust people's strength. Now he is trusting naruto's strength and letting him handle what he said he would.

The second chance he was given was forbidden and a mistake by konoha that is why he is not using this opportunity to fix things with sasuke. He is trusting naruto, I am not saying this is the right thing to do but it seems this is what he is doing.
