[Theory] How Itachi Might End Edo Tensei

Now this is a rather far fetched theory that ive thought of but ill state it anyway. So far the only way that the manga has revealed to edo tensei is if you take control over kabuto and let him form the Dog, Horse and Tiger seal and says release;

Itachi claims to know the weakness of edo tensei, so lets assume that going by the manga the only way to release the technique is the seals above and kabuto saying release, therefore itachi knows this weakness;

So lets assume that because the only way so far in the manga to release the technique is to gain control of kabuto, make him form the seals and say release itachi also knows this. But you see all this has happened funny enough ill show you why.

Firstly kabuto said the person needs to gain control of him. Well itachi has done this with izanami;

Funny enough kabuto has also formed the dog, horse and tiger seal and even said release. Simple really he used Suiton Daibakufu no Jutsu;

To translate Suiton Daibakufu no Jutsu to English means Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique

Hope you see why i highlighted the release part, if not because it fits in with how to get rid of edo tensei. Now how did kabuto form the dog, horse and tiger seal. He did it when he used Suiton Daibakufu no Jutsu. That technique in the databook;

Now i did say it was a farfetchd theory, but the scenario which kabuto stated for him to release edo tensei has more or less been completed. Itachi has taken control. Kabuto has formed the seals and he has said release. Far fetched theory so if you do find holes in it, its to be expected U_U.

I dont think your theory is going to work. If Kabuto was talking to Orochimaru, I'd believe him. BUT WE ALL KNOW HE IS LYING SOMEHOW TO TOBI. Kabuto called Edo Madara is supreme shinobi, he even used it to scare Tobi with. Do you honestly think he told him the truth about releasing the Edo and how to "end" his ultimate Edo??? HELL NO.


Even if he does everything above, I guarantee you it wont do anything but release the "regular" Edos and leave the important Edos like Kages and Madara. Kabuto put so much importance on his Edo Madara I'd highly doubt he'd tell ANYONE how to release him.


IMPORTANT Final note: Kabuto's Edo Tensei has NOT been fully explained. There are obviously TWO different types of Edo Tensei that he controls. One is by the "normal" method. But at the last Manga, Kabuto showed the ability to have more Edos from people that are supposedly already sealed/dead!!! Sound 4, Orochimaru, Kimmimaru... all these Edos were also in his body. I think the Edo Madara is made the same way "Edo Orochimaru" was made. They have only been shown as "attached" to his body so far, but my assumption is that they can act and fight independent of Kabuto's body. We will see soon.

because he is an edo tensei himself and is free from kabuto and kabuto cant simply kill itachi due to being an edo tensei aswell leaviubnf itachi more time to think of way around edo tensei's user.

Puts itachi in advantage.


Itachi doesnt know himself how to deal with it, he would have use tuki to know more about the jutsu.

I doubt, if kabuto's telling the truth, he should perform the seal in that order meaning, horse-tiger-dog only. nothing in between then say the word "release"

Whilst i agree the theory is far fetched it seems its you who dont understand why itachi said he is edo tensei's weakness. Its more to do with his abilities than his edo form

One last note. The body enhancement idea I don't agree with. Only because the other "body" enhancements ONLY ENHANCED HIS CURRENT BODY. They were at no time "seperate" bodies. He doesn't have Juugo's body. He doesn't have Karin's body. He doesn't have Suigetsu's body. He only had their DNA to enhance his current body. The sound 4, Orochimaru,... these were actual bodies that were inside himself. Thats why i called them Edos, they didn't just enhance his body, they have their own "bodies" when they performed their own techniques. The Orochimaru "body" showed us that these entities have the ability to exist OUTSIDE Kabuto's body when Orochimaru's body was about to catch the brothers while they were in a genjutsu. I know, long post. Sorry

Actually, Kabuto didn't make those seals in order, meaning they won't work.
And it's a different jutsu and he didn't say KAI. That's the word for releasing the jutsu, not the english version of a different word.
