ya he will disappear as he is kabuto summon as for madara i dont know because he was summoned by muu and muu is dead if i remember right so madara may be permanent and i hope he is cuz i would be disappointed if madara was released and not defeated because then ppl would hype him up forever like no one could have ever beaten him etc

The way I look at it is, Kabuto cannot release Itachi, otherwise he would have already in their battle. The steps Itachi took to free himself from Kabuto's control freed him from it entirely. However, after defeating Kabuto, I believe Itachi will relinquish himself having found "peace" as many of the other Edo's have in the manga and anime.
