Karin and Sakura are basicallyy the same character.
Both hit their teammates (even though Suigetsu deserves it more)
Both are tomboyish yet girly at the same time.
Both are medical ninja.
Both are useful (Sakura being a medic combat ninja, Karin being a medic ninja/scout ninja)
Both love (well in Karin's case, loved) Sasuke. Yeah, Karin gave up on him.
A lot of Sasusaku fans (I am a Sasusaku fan too), say the only reason Sakura hits Naruto is for comedy effects, but Karin's pervyness and hitting Suigetsu are also for comedy effect. So that's being a Hypocrite on their parts.
Sakura is indeed physically stronger, but not mentally stronger than Karin. They're probably have the same amount of intelligence, but you don't see Karin crying over everything.
Sasuke tried to kill Karin once, result: Karin does not love him anymore.
Sasuke tried to kill Sakura twice, result: she is still having trouble deciding who she would save, her attempted murderer or her male best friend, Naruto.
KARIN IS Not MEAN, STUPID, USELESS (though maybe not very strong), OR SKANKY!
Sorry, just had to let that out. I don't hate Karin or Sakura anymore, though I somewhat still dislike Sakura (but only in canon, in fanfictions, I mostly like her), but I can't stand it when people say "don't bash my character" but than bashes another character.
They're scared that Karin is a threat to their pairing (I like Sasusaku more, but it's true when I see sasusaku fanfictions).
