I don't think you need senju because danzo used izinagi a good plenty of times but I might be wrong I think he didn't have senju

He had hashi's cells you can see his face here tho danzo is not an uchiha so i believe he needs both senju and uchiha DNA to use izanagi.

You may think that. Actually a lot of people think that, but that was not what Tobi said. Tobi stated that "only those who possess both Uchiha and Senju powers can use Izanagi"

Read this scan These are Itachis words it seems to me that more then 1 uchiha was useing izanagi and izanami was created to punish the users. Why would the uchiha develop a costly genjutsu to punish izanagi users if only the ones who have senju DNA can use it?

That is precisely why I made this thread. The only reason why the Uchiha as a clan went to all the trouble to create Izanami was because there were several who not only use it but abuse it. And as the manga states word for word that to be able to use Izanagi you need Senju powers then the logical conclusion is that Madara was not the first Uchiha to implant Senju cells on himself.

C'mon the idea mustn't be new. Otherwise why would Danzo and Orochimaru think of using Hashirama's cells to control and power up the Sharingans? And why would Tobi said what he said? If we're talking about amounts of chakra, there are plenty other ways to become a chakra beast. There was no need to be Hashirama's cells specifically.

Itachi claims that Izanami was created to punish and teach the Uchiha's who at certain point in history were abusing of the powers of Izanagi. On the other hand Tobi said that only those who possess both Uchiha and Senju's powers can use Izanagi. Either this is a plot whole or it means that Uchiha Madara did nothing original by sicking to gain access to Senju's DNA.

Maybe, just maybe this might shed some light onto who Tobi might be. Uchiha older than Madara? Your thoughts.
