Exactly! Why don't people see this!! GOKU WAS the ramen guy's underling! He pretended to be loyal to ramen guy in order to gain his trust. But now Goku has stepped out of the shadows as Tobi. He wants to take over the world because he dropped his pizza and couldn't eat it! Now, he wants to take vengeance on the world with the Infinite Tsukuyomi! It all fits!

Forgive me if this has already been covered, as I searched and could find no mention of it, but we know that Tobi read the tablets under the Naka Shrine, and that's likely where he figured out Izanagi. After all, he knew its proper name, consequences, and use prior to ever using it.

Anyway, it strikes me that not only was he able to read a tablet encoded so that only Uchiha eyes could read it, but he also knew where the secret lair under Naka Shrine was and that it existed at all. So, sure, you can tell me that his borrowed eyes read as well as any other Uchiha's, but even Sasuke and other native Uchiha's had no idea that the secret lair existed. That puts Tobi in a very select group of people that knew of its existence, knew where it was, and could read it.

He has to be an Uchiha leader.

Good point , but to think of it I'm pretty sure oro knew about it which is why madara was shocked and i think he even thought bubbled how were they able to dechipher the tablet when kabuto told him about the rinni. I think that know there is a lil more detailed about izanagi and how uchiha used it before .... This is because izanagi is a uchiha tech... Moreover why did tobi say to Conan someone needs uchiha and senju to use izanagi ... Meaning danzo needed senju DNA and the sharingan which is uchiha DNA in order to use izanagi ... This makes me think now more than before that tobi is not a uchiha.

Funny guys you , I have an easier time believing that tobi is obito, he really did not die and got experimented on by madara. Then to believe that tobi is izuna. I like how people manipulate the story to make it seem that their theory is even a slight bit plausible. Use logic only tobi can use that teleportation tech which is powered by his EYE not a jutsu. Who have we seen manipulate time and space with an eye( kakashi)moreover, minato even suggested it was madara. And minato was a genius he could have known it was danzou due to fighting style. I can't wait till he is revealed a lot of you will be shocked. I compare this to the 6th coffin ... No one really knew who it was but once it was shown ppl were hyped because it was madara, now tobi is going to be revealed I feel the same way , madara has something to do with tobi.

Don't know why people think he fought hashi just for the heck of it. He fought hashi to gain new powers and those powers are that of the rinnigan. Now that we know you don't need senju DNA to use izinagi or izanami. This makes me think that madara used izinagi to fake his death. Gave the rinni to tobi who I have no clue what/who he is. To give to Nagato to then revive madara using rinni tensei.

Who can tobi be ....
1) still can be obito.
2) can be a shell of madaras former self( split) for example half his soul and body became a separate entity. Which is why kabuto fixed him and brought him to his prime because only half of his soul and power were actually there. Tobi has the other half which is why he is just a shell
3) it can be izuna, let's say tobi is bs'Ing and izuna gave his eyes to madara for the cause , madara could have used rinni-tensei before he died to bring izuna back , so that izuna can bring back madara and rule the current generation.( since I guess hashi was ridiculous overpowered.)

So yeah many possibilities... But just look at what I did I actually used substance from the story ;-)

Very much possible, we know for sure Obito Uchiha is Tobi, some still won't accept it though. +REP

365 pages regarding theories about tobi.......uuuuuufffffffff...its a hell of confusion........
I now think that mashashi should not have used a character like tobi on the first hand in naruto series; or might be it is a perfect pawn for plot no character (similar to plot no jutsu).... XD

yeah he said data him and oro gathered. im guessing some of it was from the tablet. any way they knew the secret , so do you really even need to read the tablet? because they came to the right conclusion. like i said now i believe that tobi is not a uchiha because he said you needed both senju and uchiha dna to use izanagi.When the recent chapter says that there have been izanagi users in the past(uchiha) and have been punished by using izanami on them which and both are uchiha techs so if your a uchiha you dont need anything, but if your not you need the sharingan and senju dna.

but why would you need both if you are not either when only one is necessary if you are one? DNA is DNA. it's either good to go, or it isn't.

From this, we can tell that his face easily looks like either Kagami or Obito, leaving those as the only two he could be.

I think he is supposed to have the first curved line under his eye. I think only the other lines below that are (a) wrinkle(s). Tobi looks just like an older version of Madara, with shorter hair. Madara and Tobi both have the same line under their eye too.

In your picture he looks more like Madara, just with no lines or wrinkles. Good job removing the lines though!

Trust me, I made sure to erase that wrinkle last to see if there was any resemblance to Madara. But, I'm telling you, having all wrinkles except that removed, he looks nothing like Madara. The rest of the wrinkles were probably just an allusion by Kishi so we didn't notice that his one eye wrinkle isn't that similar to Madara's. It seems to connect more to his other features, instead of being isolated under his eye, as Madara's were. This leads me to believe that the first eye wrinkle is also one that resulted from age/having a boulder fall on him(lol).

Ok, it is confusing. lol I just thought that also the shape of Tobi's eyes and eyebrows looked identical. But I see what you mean about the curved line under his eye. And Kagami has wavy hair, so probably not him.

I believe Tobi's body could possibly belong to Obito (hence the haircut and the normal sharingan in only his right eye), but the will and spirit or maybe a jutsu of Madara's is the essence and personality of him. Notice that Madara is aware of Nagato's existence and at first believed that his rebirth had something to do with him. And he is aware of the masked man and the fact that they had a plan. I believe Tobi or Madara had the ability to give Nagato the Rinnegan just like Itachi gave Sasuke his Mangekyou.


I do like the juubi theory however.

The eyes and eyebrows can resemble alot of people. But, to me, they look most like they belong more to Kagami or a full grown Obito. I don't really think Kagami having wavy hair disproves this theory, because Tobi's hair has been viewed from many different perspectives and angles, while Kagami's hasn't. Plus, there are a few manga panels where tobi's hair actually seems to be wavy, like Kagami's:

Normally, though, it resembles Obitos. In my mind, it's still between Obito and Kagami. (Yes, hair isn't a good factor to go on but it IS supportive)

What i wonder about tobi is something else

i understand the mask he wears....but why is one eye covered....if you think about it it makes no real sense
and explaining it just as...a habbit is kinda cheap
but i cant think of any solid reason

than there is his "tobi" attitude we all know its fake..i can be wrong but maybe this has a reason for playing like that maybe a relative or he was that way before he lost his beliefs

the most likely man behind it right now is Izuna
madara apparently knows him and
its something tobi said himself that made it suspicious
usually he tells poeple lies or information with no personal affection....but when he talked about madaras EMS he said izuna gave his eyes to him...why would he insist...or even say that?

another thing might be possible he is one of rikudo sennins sons
either older or younger
i prefer the younger cause this would proof itachis words that tobi lost his beliefs, when we are told the younger believed in peace

anyway it would also explain (for either one) how he could give the rinnegan to nagato (older one his own or younger brother his brothers eyes)

maybe..just mabe this could also explain the comment about izuna giving eyes to his brother because he had a similar situation...or the exact opposite with his brother

and it would clear the comment about being complete as refference to his father(having the eyes and the tentails inside him)

one thing i want to consider is also tobi lied(most likely) about his identity
is it likely that he would reveal his over ten year plan just like that?
i know that he intendet to draw out the remaining jinchuriki but..is this moonseye plan the truth?
or maybe its not the whole plan.

also there are his weapons that change over time (chain, fan, bombs)
i cant say i can get informaton out of it...but it would be stupid to not consider it information.

One more thing, for some reasons he seems to need sasuke, maybe in a much different way than just a wartool.
(His eyes are a possible reason...or to control the tentails...maybe both)

Actually Itachi implated his amaterasu inside sasuke to awaken when tobi is around(sasukes MS has the shape of itachis at that moment)
Sasukes MS awakens due to the loss of his brother

Best thoery for who Tobi is so far

Tobi is a piece of Madara's soul he put in a zetsu-repaired body, possibly Izuna's. Just before dying, Madara told Tobi to give a a successor (Nagato) his Rinnegan eyes and then capture all of the tailed beasts so that he could fuse them all back into the Ten-Tails, be revived, and then become the new Sage of the Six Paths.

That's why...
-Tobi's ultimate goal is "to become complete again"
-Tobi was taken aback when Kabuto showed his he could impurely revive Madara
-And Madara knows Tobi, the Moon's Eye Plan, and Nagato


As far as Tobi's Sharingan goes, it could very well be Obito's other eye that Tobi just acquired at some point after his death.
