It was kind of hinted that the KinGin bro's (or atleast Kinkaku) was there whilst fighting Tobirama. And lets be honest, fighting 2 Pseudo-Jinjurikis with the Sage's treasures + 18 others in their team is no simple task. The fact that Tobirama + young Hiruzen + young Danzo + Kagami Uchiha and Torifu and who ever else was there wasn't enough to take them shows that they must have been strong.

tobirama was facing kinkaku squad, so he was probably against kinkaku and ginkaku+ other 18 super elite forces....and i dont think that he died, BECAUSE there was meeting with raikage(and why would you be on meeting and then declare war again?)...and there he was ambushed...i think that kinkaku and ginkaku ambushed the meeting, because tobirama killed the other 18 super skilled jounins and kin/gin ran away....and then hokage and raikage pwned them, though second hokage died shortly after(i think->verge of death)....and about raikage, he might have killed like 2k ninjas, but low skilled ones...and still 2nd hokage>3rd raikage

Yep, that's the truth. Also, raikage was helping by telling everyone his weaknesses and warning when he was about to attack, just like the rest of the edo who weren't being completely controlled.

As for 3rd Raikage / 2nd Hokage business, 3rd raikage was a machine. He had chakra like a tailed beast and supposedly the best attack and defence. The second Hokage's most notable achievements were setting up organisations and creating order in the village and also creating Edo Tensei. The two of them are strong in their own right but can't compete in the same arena so to speak. The comparison is funny though.

I want to see an arc involving Hashirama and Tobirama. Possibly when they were younger. After all the ridiculousness involving Hashirama's DNA it's well overdue considering how little we really know about them. I don't suppose it's likely to happen though.

I agree that Tobirama is way cooler. White hair and red eyes, god yes! (Raikage looks like a mix between a sunburnt wrestler and a monkey). But their skills are too different to make a fair comparison. 3rd raikage might overwhelm him with raw strength and speed. The fact that Tobirama created edo Tensei and organised the village suggests he leaned more towards the academic side of things. Whereas his brother was the one with the power. Though Tobirama is of course a Kage and is head and shoulders above most in terms of power.

I thought the time with the kin & gin was separate to the time with his death. As the events were only told in brief you can only imagine how it actually went down. The time with his death was actually a story about Danzo and Hiruzen, the focus wasn't on Tobirama and doesn't tell us much about him.
