actually the zodiac mostly killed within cali. riverside,san berandino,san fransico etc.

you gotta admit though the vdates they stared killing are simular anyway can mix them up. but as far as this guy goes i got him down like the back of my hand

sorta, the oro zodiac was killing in the late 60s and early 70s the other guy started his first kills in the 80s to early/late 90s

I have heard of the Zodiac Killer and I think I even watched the movie a few years ago. For me he has the same mysterious aura about him as Jack The Ripper

well the zodiac did want to be a lil like him, but hes way better than him more famous

jack the ripper may have have been mentally unbalanced but he was definitely smart and i think it was that one guy in the royal family that was screwed up he is jack they did a show on it and they said he matched the profile almost perfectly

I don't know if the Zodiac killer is more famous than Jack the Ripper. Practically everyone has heard the tale about Jack the Ripper, he's one of the most famous killers who has ever existed, but I don't think a lot of people have heard about the Zodiac Killer. Of course people who live in the area where he was active will know him of course and the ones who saw the movie or read something about it will know him too, but in general Jack the Ripper is more famous than the Zodiac Killer in my opinion.
At least if I understood your post right and you wanted to say that the Zodiac killer is more famous than Jack the Ripper. If you didn't say that, then I'm sorry I misunderstood your post ^^;

The man was definitely evil and there's a reasonably good chance that he will never be revealed. Of course, I hope that he's identified. It may take a while, but I suspect, some day, we'll know who he was.

I still think JTR is more well known and generally thought to be a bigger mystery. However, Fincher's 2007 movie (Zodiac) did much to level the playing field in terms of public knowledge about the case.

I also believe that the case of the Zodiac Killer is more interesting, especially in terms of what the killer was able to get away while managing to evade capture. But then again, what'd you expect from a guy with a website about the Zodiac Killer?

It doesn't matter whether you do or not. My school has a special program called the criminal Justice Acadamy, which im in, (they teach you about law enforcement and the court system, and show you how to do things that cops do). police will follow up every single lead so even if you leave false evidence they will find out that it is false. plus you only have to screw up once for them to catch you, especially if you have the feds on your a**.

Actually, they're 90% sure about who the guy is. There was a man that died a few years back and he told his son to make sure that he got rid of the VCR before he died and when his son got rid of it, there was an exact hood of the zodiac inside of it. The man also apparently was in the places the victims died when they died but had never been a suspect due to lack of evidence. I saw a documentary on it a couple of months ago on a crime channel, interesting stuff, the guy was truly evil. I'm not sure if it was really him in the end but it seemed like a lot of things pointed towards it.
