Truth about Itachi

Ok I've been seeing a lot of people saying ridiculous things about Itachi (making most fans look bad or maybe its only some of his fans that are sensible). So I would like to clear them up.

1.) Itachi can not defeat Hashirama, Minato, or Madara (These are not the only people I think he can not defeat just specific ones that people were saying which stood out to me.)

2.) Sasuke is not stronger then Itachi YET but he will surpass him soon enough

3.) This is the stupidest one in my opinion. Not everybody is susceptible to his finger genjutsu Naruto was freed from it very easily. Also if it was such a great technique he would have used it in more battles.

3.) Izanami is not some ultimate jutsu that makes him invincible, It is actually pretty much useless in regular combat. Kabuto was just the perfect person to use it on and it took a lot of prep time which if he was not Edo and did not have a partner he would have died.

4.) His susano equipped with spiritual weapons does not make him invincible either. He does not have enough chakra to continually spam it and also it has weaknesses as we've seen, such as beneath it, behind it, and it can be broken. Even with Yata Mirror the mirror is only in front of him not on all sides, so if you managed to launch a powerful enough attack from a different angle fast enough it would still work.

I disagree:
Itachi >or= Minato
Sasuke's only hope of surpassing him is by obtaining Rinnegan
Yata Mirror is 100% protection, his exposed Susano'o sides are still approximately 80%
I agree:
Madara and Hashi>Itachi
Finger genjutsu is overrated
Izanami is overrated as well

There are some points that makes no or little sense.

Ok, agreed with Hashirama, Madara, but not Minato. If he cannot defeat minato, atleast can draw with him. I am not pulling his ability, but it has discussed many times why Itachi >= Minato.

There is no particular technique naming finger genjutsu. Finger is just a way to induce genjutsu to opponent apart from sharingan, and i think there are more. Also, since it is a regular genjutsu, it can be broken. But most people, apart from perfect jinkchuri, and SM users, it can affect ANYONE.

That is wrong, Izanami's user can choose any destiny for the opponent. Lets say even to accept his death. But side effect is it need lot chakra, prep time, and an eye U_U.

I understand Izanami perfectly well, But like you said lots of prep time. During that time his opponent could easily take him out that is why it is useless in combat. Also he even stated himself that It can not be used during an actual fight.

On to Susano, there are techniques susano can not withstand we have seen this so it is not an ultimate defense, and there is still the fact that there is no protection beneath it. Like I said before to Itachi does not have enough stamina to continually spam Susano. So its not near invincible if he could run out of chakra quickly and die.

I like how the only point you agree with is the one that is a positive statement about Itachi.

Itachi is not my favorite character, but I remember Zetsu mentioned that he was invincible with his Susano'o's sword and shield, or something like that. I thought it was mentioned that Itachi's shield could repell anything. I'm just saying.

I understand that but I'm just saying that he still has to have the shield in the line of the attack for it to repel it. So his other sides can still be attacked, but they would need to be attacked with powerful jutsu because they still need to break Susano.
