Maybe it was because of the translation, but Itachi's explanation of Izanami didn't make much sense. It was better than the Kabuto flashbacks but the chapter overall seemed messy.

I think Itachi pointed Sasuke in the right direction, but he'll leave most of the work of changing Sasuke up to Naruto. He doesn't want to make matters worse, and he doesn't feel like it's his place anymore, as he's supposed to be dead. I don't think Sasuke will learn Izanami in this short of a timespan. It seems he, like most of us, still don't understand the technique entirely himself.

As for Kabuto, I don't know how he would break free, except by releasing Edo Tensei. But then that begs the question, what happens to Edo Madara? He'd have to do something to not disappear, because if he vanished in the middle of his fight with the Five Kage, that would be a very, very dumb move on Kishimoto's part.

My two cents.

Yeah, it would ruin the purpose of this war. I mean seriously, Tobi would be the only threat left. Maybe, Madara cannot be extinguished with the Edo Tensei. Either Kabuto gets killed by Sasuke making the Edos last longer or Kabuto did some modifications to Madara enabling him from leaving the battle field via cancellation of Edo Tensei. I just know that if Madara leaves the battlefield because Itachi cancel Edo. I will be mad at the writer :zonder:

I was disppointed. I expected something more lively, but I guess it was predictable that this week chapter was going to be a break to take breath and explain Izanami. Looking forward for next chapter.

Also, I despise the grammar it has been badly said in their sentences. It does make sense at all. The explanation was a bit complex to understand, so i agree with you. I had a theory and Itachi made it clear that i was right. The chapter like i said before was fine. Just the grammar is clearly full of errors in each sentence :zonder:

Yeah, i wish he would have ended Edo Tensei. It took him too much to explain the jutsu's purpose, but the last page saying it's time to end Edo Tensei, sucked. I thought he would of ended it at least in that same chapter. Guess we have to wait until Wednesday! :zonder:
