I guess it would be intresting to know why they look so different..which means we need to know what their parents look like..I mean we all know where Naruto got his yellow/blonde hair from or where Asumas got his looks from.
I would love to know more about The Generations after 1st Hokage, like what do Tsunades Parents look like or if the second had kids and such..

There is no real explaination as to why, atleast that I know of. It does cause speculation, maybe its do to the nature of the sages hair((if they turn out to be direct descendants(( althought most be the are more like grand sons or so because of the nature of relationships that the uchia have to the senju and ties to the uzimaki))). It doesn't really say they are not the sons of the sage but that the senju inherited the body and chakra reserves. So it could be part of the main house secondary house relations,since kishi/culture does that with the huyga/royal clans.:shrug:

that's awesome, because ive always thought hashirama was adopted and that's why he is the only senju/person to be able to use wood release.
it could be his real clan or whatever was destroyed, leaving only him so that's why only he could use wood release.

im thinking that hashirama got adopted because, in the background, most senju are white and hashi is the only brown/tanned one >_>
