Why didn't sasuke surpress the eighttails like he did with kurama?

i have been curious for a while why sasuke didn't do the same in the fight with the eighttails as he did with naruto and kurama in this:

The reason i am asking is because,as most of us can see,naruto is on a entierly different level than sasuke at this point in the manga(by the way,i am no sasuke hater.He actually is one of my favourite characters)and i don't really see how he could face him unless he would be able to suppress the nine-tails chakra somehow.

For the same reason that Minato sealed the Kyuubi chakra in Naruto in order to combat a known Sharingan user and CONTROLLER of the Kyuubi.

I speculate that it's probably different for someone who has full control of their Tailed Beast. Since it's normally genjutsu that controls living things, I wouldn't say it's a stretch to say that Sasuke merely used genjutsu to enter Naruto's mind to suppress the Kyuubi. If that is the case, the Kyuubi could just wake Naruto up from it as well somehow.

even if kurama's seal is removed,there is nothing he can do,remember naruto with the help of bee and kushina resisted kyuubi for some bullshit reasons from kishi,so if naruto with one rasenshurin can,then sasuke obviously can as well,besides kurama is just a pet to those with the blessed eyes.do not underestimate an uchiha.
